In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping and improving vertical transportation systems through thoughtful design coordination and integration into complex building environments.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>This can be a fully remote position and we will consider applicants anywhere within the United States.</strong></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What you’ll be challenged to do:</strong></p>\n<p>We are thrilled to offer a rewarding position that involves working on cutting-edge vertical transportation projects. As a BIM / Revit Designer in the Vertical Transportation group, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Project Managers and Technical Center Manager, contributing your expertise to multiple projects simultaneously. What makes this opportunity even more enticing is that it can be a fully remote position, making it accessible to applicants from anywhere within the United States.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Produce drawings, layouts as needed and offer technical solutions to the Vertical Transportation Design Team.</li>\n <li>Generate various BIM deliverables to clients, including modeling and detailing for project documents for the project teams.</li>\n <li>Assist project managers with model presentation for project teams and client meetings.</li>\n <li>Complete Revit Project Setup.</li>\n <li>Download, review, and understand design drawings and models to accurately design and coordinate vertical transportation designs. Communicate design changes and issues with the Project Manager and the Design Team.</li>\n <li>Responsible for assigned projects with the ability to meet deadlines, budgets, and prioritize assignments while maintain quality standards and accuracy.</li>\n <li>Collaborate on multi-discipline, multi-company projects.</li>\n <li>Provide layouts of vertical transportation including passenger and freight elevators - hydraulic and traction types, escalators, moving walks with supervision from the Technical Center Manager and Project Managers.</li>\n <li>Ability to take direction and participate in quality reviews of work product.</li>\n <li>Determine and document vertical transportation technical data such as dimensions, structural loading, electrical requirements, and equipment heat output.</li>\n <li>Research elevator, building, and applicable codes.</li>\n <li>Generate and improve on growing library of Revit families.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2></h2>\n<p><strong>What you’ll bring to our firm:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associates / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.</li>\n <li>Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM/Revit, AutoCAD.</li>\n <li>Experience in architectural and/or engineering drafting.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with architectural, mechanical, and/or electrical engineering design.</li>\n <li>The ability to read design blueprints.</li>\n <li>BIM Tasks add family editing, expanded modeling skills, understanding of BIM Workflows and project setup.</li>\n <li>Experience with Revit/CAD file integration into a project.</li>\n <li>Adhere to project execution plans and workflow criteria.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam Revu.</li>\n <li>Experience with Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes a plus.</li>\n <li>Experience at a firm with an ISO 9001 Certified Quality Management System is highly desirable.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What we prefer you bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Elevator/Escalator design/drafting experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>\n<p>The salary range for this role is <strong>$93,000 - $114,000</strong>.
