In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain innovative mobile experiences that reach diverse audiences across English- and Spanish-speaking markets. Your bilingual skills (fluent English + professional-level Spanish) will be key for collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating with stakeholders in both languages, localizing app content, and providing technical support or documentation in Spanish when required.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable Android applications using Kotlin (primary) and Java (when needed).</li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and backend teams to define requirements and deliver polished features.</li>\n<li>Translate business and user requirements into clean, maintainable, and testable codeArchitecture) following modern Android architecture best practices (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture)</li>\n<li>Implement pixel-perfect UI/UX following Material Design 3 guidelines and ensuring excellent performance across a wide range of Android devices and OS versions.</li>\n<li>Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, handle offline support, data persistence (Room,DataStore), secure authentication, push notifications, and analytics.</li>\n<li>Write robust unit, integration, and UI tests (JUnit, Espresso, Robolectric, MockK).</li>\n<li>Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement of the mobile codebase.</li>\n<li>Localize app content and UI strings for English and Spanish-speaking users; adapt features to regional preferences and compliance requirements.</li>\n<li>Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish during meetings, documentation, user support tickets, and stakeholder updates.</li>\n<li>Debug and resolve production issues quickly while maintaining high code quality and app stability</li>\n<li>Stay current with Android ecosystem changes (new Jetpack libraries, Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile when relevant, Google Play policies, etc.) </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>3–6+ years of professional experience developing production Android apps.<br></li>\n<li>Strong proficiency in Kotlin (modern Android development standard).</li>\n<li>Solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries (ViewModel, LiveData/Flow, Navigation, Hilt/Dagger, Coroutines, Compose preferred).</li>\n<li>Experience with Jetpack Compose (strongly preferred) or strong willingness to transition from XML layouts.</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience publishing and maintaining apps on Google Play Store.</li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to performance, memory usage, and battery optimization.</li>\n<li>Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) – ability to conduct technical discussions, write documentation, and create user-facing content in both languages fluently.</li>\n<li>Experience working in agile/Scrum environments with tools like Jira, Confluence, Git, GitHub/GitLab.</li>\n<li>BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Nice-to-Have Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Jetpack Compose, Material 3, and modern theming</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) or Flutter (bonus)</li>\n<li>Knowledge of mobile security best practices, App Bundles, Play Integrity API</li>\n<li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Android (Bitrise, GitHub Actions, Fastlane)</li>\n<li>Understanding of accessibility (TalkBack) and internationalization (i18n)</li>\n<li>Exposure to Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, Cloud Messaging)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Language Requirement</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">English: C1 required</span></li>\n</ul>",
