    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>$20.29 / hour</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Visual Merchandise Assistant supports the Visual Merchandise Supervisor and helps create and maintain appealing and effective product displays in retail environments throughout Knott's Berry Farm theme park, Knott's Marketplace shopping area, Knott's Hotel, and Knott's Soak City water park. Additionally, the Visual Merchandise Assistant may be periodically called upon to support activiations and seasonal events beyond the Knott's Berry Farm property. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The role involves a combination of crateive, administrative, and logistical tasks to support the Visual Merchandising team in enhancing the Guest experience and driving sales. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Upholding visual merchandising standards</li>\n <li>Assisting the Visual Merchandise Supervisor in the design and implementation of displays</li>\n <li>Sourcing materials</li>\n <li>Stayin on trend</li>\n <li>Creating visual aids</li>\n <li>Handling and tracking product samples for display purposes</li>\n <li>Assisting with inventory management to ensure timely availability of products for displays</li>\n <li>Helping to create and manage schedules for display installations and changes</li>\n <li>Managing paperwork and files related to visual merchandising guidelines and projects</li>\n <li>Guest service</li>\n <li>Performance analysis</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>at least one year of experience in design, retail, or a related field</li>\n <li>strong sense of style, color, and layout</li>\n <li>understanding of composition, balance, and how to create visually engaging spaces</li>\n <li>up to date with current fashion, design, and retail trends</li>\n <li>ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain a structured workplace</li>\n <li>experience in planning, coordinating, and executing visual merchandising or similar projects from start to finish</li>\n <li>ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines, especially during store setup or seasonal changes</li>\n <li>ability to identify issues and find creative solutions to challenges during the display process</li>\n <li>ability to frequently engage in physical work, including lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, climbing ladders, walking extended distances, and standing for extended periods</li>\n <li>clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members, explain design concepts, and provide feedback</li>\n <li>ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other visual merchandise assistants, store staff, supervisors, and managers</li>\n <li>understanding of Guest preferences and how to create displays that appeal to the target audience</li>\n <li>proficiency with design software, such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, is preferred</li>\n <li>proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams</li>\n <li>experience with retail and inventory systems is preferred</li>\n <li>understanding and appreciation for the rich history of Knott's Berry Farm and the detailed nuances of a heavily themed amusement environment</li>\n <li>available to work a variety of days and times, including nights, weekends, and holidays</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>    <strong>Certifications:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>    Driver's License</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>",
