Thursday&ndash;Monday (3pm-12am)\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nThe General Maintenance Worker II (nights and weekends) - is responsible for the continued safe and functional operation, maintenance and physical improvements of MHA facilities, to ensure outstanding and life-transforming guest experience in a manner consistent with MHA&rsquo;s mission, vision and values. \\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nKey Job Accountabilities\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tMaintain fixtures, furnishings, equipment and room finishes in all the guest accommodation units and camp wide facilities to ensure a safe and pleasing environment for all staff and guests. \\r\\n\\tPerform work orders associated with, but not limited to, heating and cooling systems, door locking systems, room safes, plumbing and electrical fixtures, all types of flooring and wall coverings, windows, window treatments, and furniture.&nbsp; \\r\\n\\tMaintain the exterior and interior finishes of all units and camp wide facilities to ensure a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment. \\r\\n\\tOther duties as assigned. \\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nSupervisory Responsibilities\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nMay occasionally oversee the work of volunteers or part time staff during specific projects. \\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nEducation\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tMinimum of a High School diploma or equivalent. \\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nWork Experience\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tMinimum of 3 years&rsquo; experience in facility maintenance, light construction or related field.\\r\\n\\tMust have documented experience in maintaining and improving buildings, grounds and equipment\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tProficient in the repair and maintenance of common residential and commercial plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems. \\r\\n\\tGeneral building maintenance/construction skills.\\r\\n\\tBasic interior and exterior painting skills. \\r\\n\\tMechanical systems&rsquo; skills that support electrical, plumbing, HVAC, low voltage controls, water and sewer system operation, etc.).\\r\\n\\tMust possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. \\r\\n\\tAbility to work independently and proceed with objectives with little supervision. \\r\\n\\tAbility to use a personal computer or smart phone for basic functions such as time clock use and work request processing. \\r\\n\\tAbility to adapt to changing priorities and added duties on a daily basis.&nbsp;&nbsp; \\r\\n\\tAbility to work well with others.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nPhysical Demands\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\t\\r\\n\\t\\t\\t\\r\\n\\t\\t\\tThe physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
