The Inventory Specialist will also work closely with the Sales Department to ensure that vehicles are properly displayed and ready for sale.<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Duties</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Receive and inspect incoming vehicles</li><li>Stock in new arrivals</li><li>Setup service plans for inventory inspections</li><li>Prepare inventory for online presence</li><li>Merchandise inventory on the lot and online</li><li>Write description in Vauto for each pre-owned vehicle</li><li>Conduct weekly lot inspections and mileage checks</li><li>Assist sales and sales management with any inventory questions or needs</li><li>Maintains contact with federal, state, and/or local government agencies and utilities to secure fleet business, actively utilizing the bidding process.</li><li>Solicits commercial fleet accounts.</li><li>Ensures quality deliveries of all fleet sales.</li><li>Acts as source for national and local courtesy deliveries (supplying specifications as needed for orders).</li><li>Provides out-of-stock service for fleet accounts and local leasing companies in conjunction with new-vehicle department manager.</li><li>Supplies new-vehicle department manager with monthly forecasts of fleet car and truck deliveries.</li><li>Follows up on dealership payment for delivered fleet, lease company and commercial account vehicles routinely.</li><li>Maintains professional appearance.</li><li>Other tasks as assigned.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
