    "description": "<p>MFM Limited Partnership is currently seeking skilled and qualified candidates for the position of Automotive Service Technician (AST)/Light Duty Mechanic to join our operation at our Town Fleet location.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>MFM Limited Partnership, a Mikisew Group company, provides comprehensive Client services in vehicle inspection and light duty repair services.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This posting will remain open until suitable candidates have been found. We would like to thank all applicants for your interest in working with our team.</p>\n<p>· Shift: 4 days on, 3 days off, (Tuesday – Friday) 10 hours per day (30-minute unpaid lunch). Work is conducted under an Hours of Work Averaging Arrangement (HWAA) - formerly known as a Compressed Work Week.</p>\n<p>· Duration: Permanent</p>\n<p>· Local residency in Fort McMurray. No Camp/Accommodations provided.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>\n<p>· Perform repair work and routine maintenance on light duty vehicles and equipment,</p>\n<p>· Check light duty equipment such as light duty trucks, vans, cars and support equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.</p>\n<p>· Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required</p>\n<p>· Adjust, repair or replace defective parts, components or systems</p>\n<p>· Complete service reports</p>\n<p>· Other duties as assigned</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Qualifications:</p>\n<p>· Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician (AST)</p>\n<p>· Light Duty Technician Certification</p>\n<p>o Red Seal Certification preferred</p>\n<p>· Must have a valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean driver's abstract (Mandatory)</p>\n<p>· Successfully complete Pre-Access Alcohol &amp; Drug Screening</p>\n<p>· 5 years’ experience working in a light duty automotive facility servicing light vehicles and support equipment.</p>\n<p>· Successful candidates are responsible for providing their own general tools. A tool allowance is provided as part of the compensation package.</p>\n<p>· Ford diagnostic and repair experience is an asset.</p>",
