Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, assisting with referrals, processing lab specimens, administering medications and immunizations, updating Electronic Health Records (EHR), preparing exam rooms, sterilizing equipment, and supporting patient education and care plans. CMAs also assist with daily clinic workflows, maintain infection control standards, participate in CQI activities and trainings, and provide courteous, professional service to patients and staff.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>High School Diploma or GED required</li>\n\t<li>Completion of a Medical Assistant Training Program</li>\n\t<li>Current Medical Assistant Certification and CPR certification required</li>\n\t<li>Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills</li>\n\t<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced clinical environment</li>\n\t<li>Knowledge of outpatient clinic procedures preferred</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push up to 100 pounds (on wheels)</li>\n\t<li>Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting motions</li>\n\t<li>Exposure to Aerosol Transmitted Diseases (ATD) and Blood Borne Pathogens (BBP) may occur in the workplace.</li>\n</ul>\n",
