AA/EOE</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Essential Skills:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Strong understanding of design fundamentals across diverse mediums</li><li>Experience teaching introductory and advanced studio art courses such as drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and digital photography</li><li>Candidates should have strong leadership and interpersonal skills, initiative, and the ability to work in a student-centered environment</li><li>Successful candidate will have experience using a variety of teaching strategies and tools</li></ul><p><u><strong>Essential Responsibilities</strong></u></p><ul><li>Experience demonstrating ability to work creatively with beginning and advanced students at a variety of skill levels</li><li>Plan course instruction and syllabi based upon approved course description, goals, and objectives</li><li>Design, administer, and grade essays, examinations, and applicable projects to accurately assess achievement of course objectives as identified in the syllabus</li><li>Contribute to program assessment of student learning outcomes based on signature assignments in courses&nbsp;</li><li>Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and actively engage students</li><li>Maintain regular office hours to meet one-on-one with students&nbsp;</li><li>Work with the Chair and other faculty in the Division of Humanities &amp; Fine Arts to ensure instructional quality and program quality</li><li>Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times towards co-workers, internal and external customers, representing Keuka College, its programs, policies and procedures in a positive and professional manner.
