Support Automation Team creates competitive advantage for our client and our client&apos;s customers by developing and managing the automated processes that our client uses to deploy and manage world class cloud and on-premise infrastructure and applications. </span><span></span></p><p><span>-As IT Automation Manager, you’ll lead a team of talented specialists to deliver and maintain superior automated IaaS and PaaS provisioning, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, and related services both on-premise and in the cloud.. </span><span></span></p><p><span>-You’ll contribute by assessing the needs of our client&apos;s internal customers and putting effective solutions in place, driving continuous improvement of environmental stability while reducing friction and time to implement. </span><span></span></p><p><span>-Working  in collaboration with teams from Operations, Engineering, Development, Support and the business, you’ll establish a constant feedback loop that will ensure that our client delivers value in alignment with company objectives and deliverables, and you’ll foster and evangelize a DevOps culture within O&amp;S and with our client&apos;s partners in Development and Support.</span><span></span></p><p><span></span></p><p><b><span>The scope of the teams’ responsibilities includes:</span></b><span></span></p><p><span>-Be the Center of Excellence within O&amp;S for DevOps practices.</span><span></span></p><p><span>-Be a Thought Leader in the design and implementation of strategies for migration of on-premise applications and infrastructure to AWS.</span><span></span></p><p><span>-Develop and maintain infrastructure provisioning end-user UIs and backend code in both on-premise and cloud environments.</span><span></span></p><p><span>-Develop and maintain automated Configuration Management and Auditing processes  via Ansible Playbooks, and act in a consultative role to infrastructure teams doing playbook development.</span><span></span></p><p><span>-Work with development teams to refine and improve CI/CD and Automated Deployment processes, including migrating legacy applications to automated deployment frameworks.</span><span></span></p><p><span>-Maintain and administrator the DevOps toolset; monitor the DevOps tools and best practices landscape to identify areas of interest to our client.</span><span></span></p><p><span>-Own the governance framework for Automation Team processes.</span><span></span></p><p><span>-Define and maintain the O&amp;S Automation/DevOps roadmap.</span><span></span></p><p><span>-Identify, track and report on key metrics indicating Automation/DevOps effectiveness.</span><span></span></p><p><span>-Capture, categorize and prioritize Automation Team Requests using JIRA and Confluence.</span><span></span></p><p><span>-The Automation team is not a team of systems administrators, and does not have operational responsilibilty to provision infrastructure or deploy applications; they are responsible for the development and management of the tools, platforms and interfaces that support these activities.</span><span></span></p><p><span>-The successful candidate will be a creative, questioning, focused, critical thinker with a passion for finding better ways to do things and little concern for the status quo, able to communicate persuasively and professionally with technical and non-technical partners including senior and executive management. </span><span></span></p><p><span>-He/she will drive initiatives in infrastructure, platform and application deployment, management and configuration auditing and any other areas where automation can yield improved service delivery.  </span><span></span></p><p><span>-This will require both traditional and Agile project management disciplines as well as strong team management skills.</span></p><p><span></span></p><p><b><span>EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE &amp; SKILLS: </span></b><span></span></p><p><span>-Prior AWS Cloud migration experience in a large enterprise.</span><span></span></p><p><span>-Excellent problem solving and communication skills.</span><span></span></p><p><span>-Self motivated with strong project and people management skills.</span><span></span></p><p><span>-Good understanding ITIL practices &amp; other standard IT practices/procedures, particularly as they relate to the cloud.</span><span></span></p><p><span>-Experience with installation, configuration, and administration of the relevant technologies – AWS EC2, CICD pipeline tools, XLDeploy, Ansible, etc.</span><span></span></p><p><span>-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.</span><span></span></p><p><span>-Certification in any relevant technologies is a plus.</span><span></span></p><p><span></span></p><p><span></span></p>",
