With a steadfast commitment to advancing medical technology, we take immense pride in the work we do – and have a lot of fun doing it.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Training Specialist will primarily focus on developing and delivering effective training for shop floor employees and other identified employees as needed. &nbsp;In addition, the Training and Safety Specialist will be responsible for shop-floor safety including audits, corrective action, and other safety related requirements.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Develop training materials for JIT training, annual, or as determined. &nbsp;This will include Word, PowerPoint, and other multi-media. &nbsp;Training content may cover work procedures, safety, quality, work skills, or other topics pertinent to the job or organizational development.</li><li>In conjunction with the HR Manager and Training Manager develop an annual training calendar for all areas of the organization. &nbsp;</li><li>Work with supervisors and managers to determine training needs and develop short and long-term strategies to ensure employee capabilities. &nbsp;This may include refresher training of current personnel.</li><li>As needed/requested: &nbsp;</li><li>Evaluate employee performance to gauge where skills are lacking.</li><li>Create training programs to address skill gaps in employees.</li><li>Develop innovative ways to ensure training is consistent, dynamic, and effective.</li><li>Train new hires and other internal personnel on basic to intermediate job skills.</li><li>Develop training processes and policies that clarify the intent and desired outcomes of training.</li><li>Ensure their training methods and style are effective and up to date. &nbsp;This includes self-assessment, feedback from others, researching teaching methods, and attending educational training sessions.</li><li>Wheeling site LMS Administrator and Ambassador.</li><li>Inspect the facility to identify safety risks.</li><li>Develop and implement inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.</li><li>Develop safety procedures for all areas of the Wheeling site.</li><li>Prepare and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.</li><li>Monitor compliance with safety procedures.</li><li>Draft inspection reports to document inspection findings.</li><li>Ensure that online safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>",
