    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p>\n<p>Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Cage or the Supervisor, Slot &amp; Cage, this position is responsible for customer service, cash administration and cash counts while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. This posting reflects a current vacancy we have.</p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Handles cash transactions including but not limited to foreign currency exchange, traveler's cheques, short pays, over payments, cash counts, coins and bills</li>\n <li>Monitors and reports all discrepancies and suspicious cash activities</li>\n <li>Redeems value chips and gaming tickets for cash</li>\n <li>Sells racing tickets, vouchers, racing programs and value chips as required</li>\n <li>Verifies and processes machine fills, machine jackpots, cancelled credits, as well as table fills and credits</li>\n <li>Issues opening floats to Slot Attendants (or others); reconciles closing floats</li>\n <li>Transfers and stores floats, keys and record keeping documents</li>\n <li>Documents and reconciles transactions; may reconcile bank deposits and prepare revenue reports</li>\n <li>Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments</li>\n <li>Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members</li>\n <li>Ensures complies with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned or directed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Education and Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma; post-secondary education an asset</li>\n <li>Minimum 1 year of experience in high volume cash handling</li>\n <li>Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License</li>\n <li>Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment Considerations</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Regular casino and cage environment, standing or sitting for long periods of time, non-traditional work hours.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Artificial intelligence may be used to select applicants in our processes.
