Reporting to the Head of Department, this is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Geospatial Engineer to lead key projects across Ireland and Europe, ensuring positive outcomes for clients and the business alike.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\"><strong> </strong></span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Will Do</span></span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Staking/Setting-out for different trades in construction.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Prepare and analyse data for set-out.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Utilise modern survey methods and survey devices such as Total Stations, GPS and Data Collectors.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Perform detailed field and office surveying work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Utilisation of post processing software such as AutoCAD, StarNet and 12d Model.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Build and maintain relationships with clients and various stakeholders, ensuring we deliver projects to exact customer requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Any other duties as required by the business.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\"><strong> </strong></span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Will Bring</span></span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Have relevant qualifications (Surveying, Geomatics or Engineering) and/or relevant experience.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of surveying.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Ability to communicate technical information effectively.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative when required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Understand scopes of work and project requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Have strong knowledge of current CAD technology.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Experience working in infrastructure and construction.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Experience with HD Laser Scanning technology and software (desired but not essential).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Experience with machine control (desired but not essential).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Understanding of BIM workflows and experience with digital collaboration tools (desired but not essential).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Possess a full Irish or EU driving licence.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Flexibility to travel nationwide &amp; European-wide as required by our clients.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">The right to work in the EU.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\"> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\"><strong>What key attributes do I need?</strong></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\"><strong></strong></span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Ability to work on your own initiative and to develop new applications and projects, as well as working within an existing team</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">An ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads and achieve critical deadlines</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Willingness to develop skills and knowledgebase. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">A flexible, positive attitude towards work and be a team player</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Enthusiastic and structured approach to planning with good problem-solving abilities</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\"><strong> </strong></span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits You Will Love</span></span></p>\n<p><span><br></span></p>\n<p><span>At Murphy Geospatial – A Woolpert Company, you’ll join a collaborative and innovative team where your expertise makes a real impact.
