In addition to the Area team, you will collaborate with the Global Portfolio, Supply Planning, R&amp;D leaders as well as have close connection with AAD Division Leadership team to drive a culture of performance and continuous improvement, shaping operational strategies that align with both short-term and long-term objectives.  Here, you will make an impact by:</p><ul><li>Be a business partner to Area Division Leader in USAC &amp; provide financial leadership to USAC area team for AAD business.</li><li>Drive robust process in financial planning &amp; analysis to improve business results, target attainment &amp; accountability.</li><li>Facilitate regular discussions on forecast outlook with risks and opportunity assessment, action plans with area and business teams on a regular basis, including but not limited to weekly forecast update &amp; monthly forecast estimate.</li><li>Accountable for Longview submission for monthly estimate, operating planning and provide support for long-term Strategic Plan.</li><li>Leverage data across multiple systems and platforms to articulate sources of growth performance &amp; variances to plans and estimates.</li><li>Connect operational actions to financial planning to drive accountability &amp; execution.</li><li>Lead Sales Incentive Planning / Sales Performance Target development, Customer Incentive Planning, and other investments to drive growth and commercial excellence.</li><li>Partner with Key Account Leaders to provide financial leadership in joint business planning with customers and annual CIP negotiations.</li><li>Influence area &amp; business team with analyses &amp; insight to improve cash flow, including AR DSO, AR past due resolution, DIO &amp; NWI performance &amp; attainment.</li><li>Engage with Global Portfolio teams &amp; other cross-functional teams to drive portfolio management, price, mix and margin improvement, and return on investment optimization.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Your Skills and Expertise  </b><br />To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)</li><li>Seven (7) years of finance experience working in private, public, government or military environment </li></ul><p></p><p>Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:</p><ul><li>MBA or graduate degree in Finance from an accredited institution</li><li>Ability to manage multiple workstreams and conflicting deadlines</li><li>Solid business knowledge and acumen as well as strategic thinking mindset</li><li>Thinks broadly of intersections between business, financial, and economic data</li><li>Creative problem solving - ability to work with diverse functional teams to address key issues</li><li>Ability to translate data into meaningful financial insights and analysis</li><li>Previous experience in a Business Finance role</li><li>Self-starter with ability to drive change</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Strong organizational and prioritization skills</li><li>Experience leading others and contributing to cross-functional teams</li><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills</li><li>Risk management analysis skills</li><li>Experience with Longview</li><li>Experience with developing Power BI tools</li></ul><p></p><div><p><b><span>Work location: </span></b><span> </span></p></div><div><ul><li><p><b><span>Work location: This role<span> </span></span><span>follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.</span></b><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><b><span>Travel:<span> </span></span><span>May include up<span> </span></span><span>to<span> 10% </span></span></b><b><span>domestic/international</span></b></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><b><span>Relocation: Is not </span><span>authorized</span></b><span> </span></p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><span><b><span>Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).</span></b></span></p><p><span><b><span> </span></b></span></p><p><span><b><span>Supporting Your Well-being</span></b></span><span><span> </span></span></p><p><span><span>3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
