This role provides client-based communication experience and opportunities.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Department Name&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>Information Technology and Analytics&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Work Location</strong></p>\n<p>Alumni Hall Room 126</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Reports To&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>Kayla van Dinther</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Hours and Pay Rate&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>8 hours per week, $16.15-$16.30/hour</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Application Process&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>Submit your resume, cover letter, and a portfolio of your work&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design a variety of digital and print graphics for IT-related initiatives, services, events, training materials, and campaigns.</li>\n <li>Create visual content such as posters, digital signage, social media graphics, infographics, email headers, and presentation materials.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with IT staff, student workers, and other departments to conceptualize and execute visual materials.</li>\n <li>Work both independently and cooperatively within a creative and technical environment to complete assigned projects on time.</li>\n <li>Maintain brand consistency and adhere to Ithaca College's visual identity guidelines across all designs.</li>\n <li>Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to improve communication and engagement.</li>\n <li>Prepare and optimize final artwork for both print and digital publication.</li>\n <li>Document design workflows, version control processes, and project procedures for future reference.</li>\n <li>Assist with photography, video editing, or basic animation as needed (optional based on skills).</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Work Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong visual design skills with a demonstrated understanding of layout, color theory, typography, and branding.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools, specifically:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Adobe Photoshop</li>\n   <li>Adobe Illustrator</li>\n   <li>Adobe InDesign</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Basic understanding of digital formats (PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF) and resolution requirements for web and print.</li>\n <li>Creative thinking and problem-solving ability to translate ideas into visual form.</li>\n <li>High level of organization and ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.</li>\n <li>Professional communication skills for engaging with staff and students through email, Microsoft Teams, or in-person.</li>\n <li>Willingness to receive and apply feedback constructively.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive or internal content.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Candidate Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be a currently enrolled, full-time student at Ithaca College.</li>\n <li>Pursuing a degree or minor in Graphic Design, Communications, Emerging Media, or a related field (Graphic Design minor preferred).</li>\n <li>Experience with visual storytelling and designing for specific audiences (e.g., students, staff, faculty).</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete projects with minimal supervision.</li>\n <li>Portfolio of design work (class projects or personal work acceptable) is strongly encouraged.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",
