Analysts can expect to work on multiple projects at a time across various practice areas and industries. Responsibilities may include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Quantitative analyses</strong>: you will help develop data-driven models to address complex economic and financial problems using tools such as SAS, R, Stata, Python</li>\n <li><strong>Qualitative research</strong>: you will conduct research using academic and industry literature, publicly available data sources, and client materials; and you will synthesize findings to inform case strategy and analysis</li>\n <li><strong>Preparation of reports</strong>: you will assist in drafting expert reports, presentations, and internal memoranda, and help prepare materials for client and case team meetings</li>\n <li><strong>Team collaboration</strong>: you will engage regularly with colleagues at all levels through case work and have an opportunity to interact directly with clients </li>\n <li><strong>Firm-building initiatives</strong>: you will contribute to firm life by participating in recruiting, mentoring, and inclusion initiatives; pro bono work; and other business development activities</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Analysis Group fosters a work environment that is centered on delivering high quality work through teamwork and collaboration, best-in-class learning programs, and a culture of transparency, trust and respect. The ideal candidate will possess:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree</strong> in accounting, computer science, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or related subjects; relevant work experience is a plus, but not required</li>\n <li><strong>Strong quantitative and research skills</strong>, including analytical and creative problem-solving abilities; the ability to conduct targeted research to address client challenges; and intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to continuously learn</li>\n <li><strong>Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills</strong>, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely</li>\n <li><strong>Demonstrated interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset</strong>, with the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting</li>\n <li><strong>A strong academic track record</strong>, with demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work  </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Applicants must have at least a 3.3 GPA or higher in their most recent degree to be considered. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Candidates who will require future visa sponsorship must have a STEM-eligible degree and at least 36 months of valid post-graduation work authorization, such as F-1 OPT or J-1 Academic Training, to join the firm. For such individuals, Analysis Group will provide post-hire immigration support, as appropriate under prevailing immigration policy. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are invested in professional development and growth and provide multidimensional support for analysts who plan to apply to graduate school. After a few years with the firm, analysts often attend top M.B.A., J.D., Ph.D., or other advanced degree programs. Analysis Group provides financial sponsorship to high-performing analysts interested in pursuing a full-time degree and returning to Analysis Group, or a part-time degree while continuing to work at the firm.
