    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p>Job Title: <strong><u>Attendant &ndash; Fuel Dock</u></strong></p><p>Department: <u>Fuel Dock</u> Reports to: <u>Marina Manager&nbsp;</u></p><p><strong>Position Prerequisites:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>1. High school graduate preferred.</p><p>2. Knowledge of fueling operations.</p><p>3. Convenience store, service station or retail experience preferred.</p><p>4. Ability to work with guests in all areas, with a positive approach.</p><p>5. Ability to concentrate on detail and follow-up work while maintaining a high standard of guest satisfaction.</p><p>6. Ability to work as a team.</p><p><strong>Purpose:</strong></p><p>Service customers fuel needs and ensure safe practices are followed.</p><p><strong>Major Duties:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>1. Some cash handling will be required.</p><p>2. Pump fuel and sewage pumpout.</p><p>3. Know what the terms &ldquo;lighting&rdquo; and &ldquo;relighting&rdquo; mean and the way to perform these activities safely and properly.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>4. Monitor traffic of watercraft at fuel area to ensure that boats are parked properly so as to provide safe mobility in marina area.</p><p>5. Maintain clean work area.</p><p>6. Ensure garbage from boats and work area is properly disposed.</p><p>7. Safely handle chemicals and fuel products to prevent potential hazards. Ensure customers observe safety precautions when refueling boats.</p><p>8. Conduct accurate fuel readings both opening and closing. Know how to stick fuel tanks properly and calculate usage.</p><p>9. Conduct dye test of sewage lines and inspect all fuel and sewage lines for leaks on a daily basis.</p><p>10. Always operate with an emphasis on guest hospitality.</p><p>12. Use a &ldquo;clean as you go&rdquo; method when performing your work duties.</p><p>13. Do no leave equipment running when not in use.</p><p>14. Adhere to safety policies.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>15. Be present at all departmental, resort and training meetings.</p><p>16. Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees (both within the department and in other resort departments)</p><p>17. Maintain a positive attitude toward the resort and the job being performed.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>General:</strong></p><p>1. Be aware of daily activities and events at the resort.</p><p>2. Be knowledgeable of all resort operations.</p><p>3. Perform all reasonable job requests assigned by General Manager.</p><p>Material handling: stooping, bending, lifting an average of 30 pounds will be part of some job requirements.</p></div></div></div>\n",
