    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>JOB SUMMARY</strong></p><p>The Mechanical Engineer&rsquo;s primary function is to provide complete engineering packages required to manufacture and assemble automated machinery, die sets and related press equipment. &nbsp;Accuracy, flexibility, and efficiency are extremely important. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES</strong> include the following:</p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\">The individual must possess strong communication skills, efficient work habits and be self-motivated to succeed in an environment where engineering cost and schedules must be minimized for the company to be successful.</li><li>Design of automated machinery and/or tooling.</li><li>Produce complete assembly and detail drawings.</li><li>Review/Check engineering work for completeness and accuracy.</li><li>Communicate effectively with supervisors and peers.</li><li>Maintain project related documents, records, and files.</li><li>Represent the company to customers and suppliers as needed to define/review projects, solve problems, and provide technical expertise.</li><li>Provide technical assistance to Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Manufacturing, QA and Assembly as needed.</li><li>Construct Bills of Material (BOMs) through ERP and/or PDM systems.</li><li>Input and release of engineered components and assemblies to purchasing/planning via ERP software.</li><li>Perform drawing/document revisions and/or Engineering Change Requests (ECR).</li><li>Assist in creation and updates of machine manuals.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:</strong> Minimal requirements for education, knowledge, and experience:</p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\">Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or minimum of five years relevant experience in machine design, metal forming, tool &amp; die design, etc.</li><li>Experienced in the practical application of engineering principles, procedures, materials, and equipment.</li><li>2D and 3D CAD proficiency (preferably Autocad and Solidworks).</li><li>Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, PDM and ERP systems.</li></ul><p><br><strong>PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong> This position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:&nbsp;</p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\">Deductive Reasoning and critical thinking skills are required.</li><li>Attention to detail &ndash; job requires focus, accuracy, and thoroughness.</li><li>Leadership &ndash; job requires the ability to motivate, help and correct subordinates.</li><li>Initiative &ndash; job requires a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.</li><li>Analytical Thinking &ndash; Job requires analyzing information and using logic to address work related issues and problems.</li><li>Innovation &ndash; job requires creativity and alternative thinking to develop new ideas and find solutions to problems.</li><li>Adaptability &ndash; job requires being open to change and variety.</li><li>Stress Tolerance &ndash; job requires accepting criticism and calmly resolving high-stress situations.</li><li>Work Schedule generally consists of 45-50 hours per week, which may include on-call status and weekends. &nbsp;Additional hours may be required to ensure project schedules are met.</li><li>Occasional travel to customer locations as needed.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<em>This position description has been prepared to assist in defining job responsibilities, physical demands, working conditions and skills needed.
