We also have a winery onsite were we make our own and contract customer wines.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Vacancy information</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Apprenticeship vacancy</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Apprenticeship Summary: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary: </span>£8.00 an hour</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Week: </span>Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday 9am – 17.00pm including a 30 minute lunch break.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours: </span>30 hours per week</li>\n<li>Online apprenticeship training supported by our skilled tutors</li>\n<li>Level 2 Food &amp; Beveridge Team Member</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location: THREE CHOIRS VINEYARDS LTD, CASTLE TUMP, Newent, Gloucestershire, GL18 1LS</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Role: </span></p>\n<p>As a Food &amp; Beverage Team Member Apprentice, you will work closely with team members carrying out different roles across the business.  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Main Duties: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Answering telephone calls and responding to emails.</li>\n<li>Taking bookings and assisting customers with enquiries.</li>\n<li>Welcoming and assisting visitors and guests.</li>\n<li>Supporting wine tastings and customer experiences.</li>\n<li>Serving food and drinks when required.</li>\n<li>Restocking and maintaining the wine shop.</li>\n<li>Assisting with general administration duties.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>        <span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional reception area.</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting the wider team with other duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Candidate: </span></p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will be friendly and professional with a passion to work in Hospitality. Enthusiastic, a great team player, reliable and eager to learn.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills and Experience </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>GCSEs at grades A*–C / 9–4 (or equivalent) in Maths and English (desirable)</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li>\n<li>Strong communication skills</li>\n<li>Ability to work as part of a team</li>\n<li>Good organisational skills and attention to detail</li>\n<li>Flexible</li>\n<li>Enthusiastic, reliable, and professional approach</li>\n<li>Basic computer and administration skills preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Training and Development: </span></p>\n<p>As an apprentice, you will receive support through both on-the-job learning and formal training as part of your apprenticeship programme. This will typically include:</p>\n<p> Study towards a relevant qualification, Level 2 Food &amp; Beveridge Team Member</p>\n<p> On-the-job training and mentoring from experienced professionals.</p>\n<p>Regular review meetings to track progress and development.</p>\n<p><em>What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end? </em>The successful candidate will obtain a Level 2 Food &amp; Beverage Team Member standard qualification.</p>\n<p><em>What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship? </em>Potential full-time employment for the right candidate upon successful completion of the apprenticeship</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Pre-employment checks. Please be aware that upon a successful offer of employment the company completes digitalised right-to-work checks and DBS applications via an external provider - 'Matrix Screening'.
