Description We are seeking a Sales Manager (Senior) with exceptional intellectual capabilities and a passion for problem-solving. This role is not about hard selling; it's about being a knowledgeable guide for our innovative solutions in the world of industrial automation. Responsibilities Engage with key decision-makers like Principle Engineers and Directors of Engineering in large manufacturing companies, presenting the unique value of SDA’s solutions. Understand and empathize with the challenges faced in PLC environments and articulate how SDA can alleviate these pain points. Develop and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients, focusing on long-term partnership building rather than short-term sales. Collaborate with technical teams to tailor presentations and demonstrations that resonate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to position SDA as a leader in the field. Sales experience in a startup environment, ideally at a growing stage, demonstrating an ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic settings. Previous experience as a Product Owner or in an engineering role is highly desirable, providing a deep understanding of technical product aspects and customer needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals. A consultative approach to sales, focusing on problem-solving and adding value to the customer experience. Ability to understand complex technical products and convey their benefits in a clear and compelling manner. Willingness to travel extensively to client sites, fostering strong customer relationships and understanding their unique needs and environments.
