This individual will be responsible for leading and directing the entire shift of the warehouse operation on the day-to-day activities with a focus on production support and customer service. Must be able to problem solve and determine priority levels for the day&rsquo;s work assignments and determine what will be completed and by whom, including coverage for call-outs, absences, and vacations.</p><p>&nbsp;$20.64 -.$.45 cents shift differential&nbsp;</p><p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of the job)&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities include<em>:</em></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Key duties include:<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Check in the driver, load the truck with the use of BOL, using the FIFO method, complete the load, print the BOL, and sign out the driver</li><li>Load, unload, and pre-stage finished goods and ingredient loads</li></ul></li><li>Lead by example and direct others in the clean-as-you-go program</li><li>Conduct daily walk through of the area and communicate findings to warehouse employees in their designated area</li><li>Provide positive recognition to employees who exhibit good behavior in their work area</li><li>Coordinate the clean-up of any findings during the walk-through and communicate gaps to other shifts and departments</li><li>Ensure product rotation is occurring by setting expectations and leading by example with the forklift drivers on shipping out the oldest product first</li><li>Audit shippers to see if the oldest product was pulled and coach employees when there is a gap</li><li>Maintain good quality of the product produced as it pertains to rotation, correct tagging of product and ensuring the product is not damaged in the warehouse</li><li>Perform audits on tagging locations to verify tags were completed correctly on each line</li><li>Follow-up on rotation in shipping to ensure the oldest product was sent and place any old age product on hold to prevent old products from being shipped</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Responsibilities include <em>partnering with the Warehouse Supervisor to:&nbsp;</em></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Communicate all shortages to the Sales Service Coordinator and Warehouse Supervisor</li><li>Lead and direct the entire shift of the warehouse operation on the day-to-day activities.&nbsp;</li><li>Key duties include:<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Estimating daily work assignments and prioritizing the work depending on the flow of work, time constraints, and manpower</li><li>Follow up on assignments to ensure they are completed to satisfactory levels</li></ul></li><li>Train new employees that are hired in the work area assigned</li><li>Advanced knowledge of the field</li><li>Lead by example and assist others who may need guidance</li><li>Be accessible for employees to ask questions regarding areas of expertise</li><li>Provide positive recognition to employees who exhibit good behavior in their work area</li><li>Provide feedback to managers on individual and team performance</li><li>Accountable for food safety, food quality, and regulatory requirements for their position</li><li>Encouraged to notify management about actual or potential food safety issues</li><li>Adopt and maintain all SQF requirements for their position</li><li>Empowerment to work with supervision to resolve food safety and food quality issues within their scope of work</li><li>Performs other related duties as required and assigned</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&nbsp;</p><p><strong>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Minimum Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Forklift certification</li><li>One-year warehousing experience</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\">&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Additional Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Experience in the food/beverage industry</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Detail oriented;
