Fa<em>ct</em>ors which may affe<em>ct</em> starting pay within this ran<em>ge</em> may include <em>ge</em>ography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>The Field Technician III will inspe<em>ct</em>, test, and maintain High, Medium, and Low ele<em>ct</em>rical power equipment. Technicians will work with ele<em>ct</em>rical equipment, such as SF6 & vacuum <em>circuit breakers</em>, pad mount transformers/GSU transformers, grounding, instrument transformers, and variance of switches both manual and motor operated. Technicians will implement safety policies.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead safety briefings on job site, identify, eliminate, or mitigate hazards. </li>\n <li>Perform High, Medium, and Low voltage testing of electrical power equipment as a crew leader. </li>\n <li>Utilize Human Performance Error Elimination concepts and tools.  </li>\n <li>Consult manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering personnel in order to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems and determine optimum equipment functioning. </li>\n <li>Prepare and maintain reports detailing all tests, repairs, and maintenance performed. </li>\n <li>Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean equipment and components. </li>\n <li>Leader in Safety Culture and responsible for other team members. </li>\n <li>Ability to install, test and maintain electrical apparatus. </li>\n <li>Understand the theory behind and reason for testing with the ability to analyze results. </li>\n <li>Develop and write reports. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Skills/Abilities: </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen due to this being a safety sensitive position.</p></li>\n <li>Complete a satisfactory criminal background check. </li>\n <li>Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time. </li>\n <li>Must have a valid driver's license and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Skills/Abilities: </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li>\n <li><strong>Experience with the following test equipment:</strong> \n  <ul>\n   <li>Power Factor </li>\n   <li>Ductor </li>\n   <li>Megger </li>\n   <li>CT ration & saturation </li>\n   <li>Hi-Pot </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Knowledge of the following equipment: </strong></li>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Circuit Breakers </li>\n   <li>Low Voltage, Medium Voltage, High Voltage | LV/MV/HV </li>\n   <li>Transformers </li>\n   <li>Switchgear </li>\n   <li>Motors </li>\n   <li>PT's & CCVT's </li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors or Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronic technology, or Military experience preferred </li>\n <li>5+ Years Relevant Industry Experience </li>\n <li>NETA III Certified </li>\n <li>Industry Certification Programs preferred - e.g. Infrared, Corona, Oil Analysis, Manufacturers, etc. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements: </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, able to lift 70 lbs. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EPS is an equal opportunity employer and gives consideration for employment to all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, disability, sex (including pregnancy, <em>ge</em>nder identity and sexual orientation), political affiliation, military service, national origin, a<em>ge</em> or any other chara<em>ct</em>eristics prote<em>ct</em>ed by state or federal laws. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EPS does not work with individual recruiters or third party recruiting a<em>ge</em>ncies, and will not recognize claim to any unsolicited resumes or candidate information.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#PoweringTheFuture</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>  </p>",
