Description Northern Pines Mental Health Center is proud to offer competitive wages and an exceptional benefits package! Northern Pines Mental Health Center is seeking a Mental Health Professional or Clinical Trainee to join our Mobile Crisis Outreach team. Travel throughout our six-county region will be required. The purpose of this position is to triage crisis calls and provide mental health assessments for evaluation of any immediate needs or crisis situations. Dedicated Professionals will provide ongoing consultation to their team. MCO staff work in teams with rotating shifts. Some holidays and on call shifts per month will be required. Essential Functions include: Provide consultation to staff regarding crisis situations Provide training to staff regarding assessments in crisis situations Conduct crisis assessments, an immediate, face-to-face evaluation to: identify any immediate need for emergency services, determine that the recipient’s behavior is a serious deviation from his/her baseline level of functioning and caused by either a mental health crisis or emergency, provide immediate intervention to relieve the recipient’s distress Determine the need for crisis intervention services, or referrals to other resources, based on crisis assessments Promptly provide crisis interventions, face-to-face, short-term, intensive mental health services provided during a mental health crisis or emergency in order to help recipients: cope with stressors, identify and use available resources, avoid unnecessary hospitalization and loss of independent living, develop action plans, begin to return to his/her baseline level of functioning Develop culturally appropriate crisis intervention treatment plans with clients and update as necessary Refer clients to different/ additional mental health services Provide crisis stabilization services: mental health services, provided after crisis intervention, to help the recipient return his/her functioning to the level it was before the crisis by: considering the crisis assessment and intervention treatment plan, consider the need for further assessment and referrals, update the crisis stabilization treatment plan, provide supportive counseling, conduct skills training, collaborate with other service providers in the community, provide education regarding mental illness support to the recipient’s people network Qualifications include: A Master’s Degree in the behavioral sciences field Independent license in the state of Minnesota (LICSW, LMFT, LP, Psychiatric Nurse, LPCC). License-seeking trainees are encouraged to apply! Supervision is available! Excellent written and verbal communication skills Electronic Records Compliance Travel is a function of both roles; ability to operate a motor vehicle and valid driver’s license is required Compensation & Benefits include: Wage Range: $62,000 - $77,000 annually Health, Dental, Disability and Life insurance with other additional voluntary options for spousal life, short term disability, accident, hospital indemnity and critical illness plans Health Savings account with employer contribution 401K with employer match Generous paid time off (1st - 3rd year, full-time employees earn 19 days/152 hours per year. MCO staff work in teams with rotating shifts.&nbsp;Some holidays and on call shifts per month will be required.\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nEssential Functions&nbsp;include:\\n\\n\\n\\tProvide consultation to staff regarding crisis situations\\n\\tProvide training to staff regarding assessments in crisis situations\\n\\tConduct crisis assessments, an immediate, face-to-face evaluation to: identify any immediate need for emergency services, determine that the recipient&rsquo;s behavior is a serious deviation from his/her baseline level of functioning and caused by either a mental health crisis or emergency, provide immediate intervention to relieve the recipient&rsquo;s distress\\n\\tDetermine the need for crisis intervention services, or referrals to other resources, based on crisis assessments\\n\\tPromptly provide crisis interventions, face-to-face, short-term, intensive mental health services provided during a mental health crisis or emergency in order to help recipients: cope with stressors, identify and use available resources, avoid unnecessary hospitalization and loss of independent living, develop action plans, begin to return to his/her baseline level of functioning\\n\\tDevelop culturally appropriate crisis intervention treatment plans with clients and update as necessary\\n\\tRefer clients to different/ additional mental health services\\n\\tProvide crisis stabilization services: mental health services, provided after crisis intervention, to help the recipient return his/her functioning to the level it was before the crisis by: considering the crisis assessment and intervention treatment plan, consider the need for further assessment and referrals, update the crisis stabilization treatment plan, provide supportive counseling, conduct skills training, collaborate with other service providers in the community, provide education regarding mental illness support to the recipient&rsquo;s people network\\n\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nQualifications&nbsp;include:\\n\\n\\n\\tA Master&rsquo;s Degree in the behavioral sciences field\\n\\tIndependent license&nbsp;in the state of Minnesota (LICSW, LMFT, LP, Psychiatric Nurse, LPCC). License-seeking trainees are encouraged to apply! Supervision is available!&nbsp;\\n\\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills\\n\\tElectronic Records Compliance\\n\\tTravel is a function of both roles; ability to operate a motor vehicle and valid driver&rsquo;s license is required\\n\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nCompensation &amp; Benefits&nbsp;include:\\n\\n\\n\\tWage Range: $62,000 - $77,000 annually&nbsp;\\n\\tHealth, Dental, Disability and Life insurance with other additional voluntary options for spousal life,&nbsp;short term disability, accident, hospital indemnity and critical illness plans\\n\\tHealth Savings account with employer contribution\\n\\t401K with employer match\\n\\tGenerous paid time off (1st - 3rd&nbsp;year, full-time employees earn 19 days/152 hours per year.
