    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p>\n<p><b>UW Health in northern Illinois</b>seeks an experienced neonatal nurse practitioner (NNP) to join our 32 bed Level III NICU team in the Women’s &amp; Children’s Hospital in Rockford, Illinois.</p>\n<p>Our Level III NICU is staffed 24/7 by a Neonatologist and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, who are part of a multidisciplinary team of caregivers providing excellent and cost-effective care to our smallest patients.</p>\n<p>In this autonomous position, you will enjoy a collaborative practice which includes rounding to discuss and establish plan of care; performance of invasive procedures within the NNP scope of practice; attendance at high-risk deliveries, transport, and opportunities to participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education.</p>\n<p>Your clinical support includes:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Team of 6 neonatologists and 6NNPs.</li>\n <li>Over a dozen pediatric sub-specialists from UW Health are located in this beautiful facility and are available for consultation and collaboration.</li>\n <li>MFM collaboration and 24 hour in house OB hospitalist</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree from or completion of a master’s level advanced practice nurse program.</li>\n <li>Active APRN license in State of IL and active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.</li>\n <li>Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Level 3 or 4 NICU.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About the Greater Rockford Area:</strong></p>\n<p>Recently named the number one housing market in America by The Wall Street Journal, Rockford and northern Illinois offer world-class attractions — all at a cost of living significantly below those of most metropolitan areas.
