Identifies instruments with damaged or improper function, and notifies Safety Officer of needed replacement/repair.</span></span></span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">Key tasks and responsibilities of Surgical Technologist:</span></span></strong></span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">Assist physician by passing instruments during the surgical case.</span></span></span></span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">Responsible for gathering and preparing supplies/equipment for surgical cases.</span></span></span></span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">Assist Materials Manager and Clinical Manager in maintaining adequate level of supplies and instruments for use by the Center.</span></span></span></span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">Adheres to established Center safety requirements and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.</span></span></span></span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">Demonstrates the safe operation of equipment and machinery and follows procedures for reporting and correcting an unsafe situation.</span></span></span></span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">Prepares OR suites and equipment prior to procedures according to Facilities policies and specific physicians.</span></span></span></span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">Licensure and Certification: </span></span></strong><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, sans-serif;\">Certified Surgical Technologist.
