This role is essential in delivering high-quality service to ensure a clean, comfortable, and memorable guest experience.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Position Requirements</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Professional demeanor appropriate for a resort environment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Previous housekeeping experience preferred.</li>\r\n\t<li>Able to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision.</li>\r\n\t<li>Able to focus attention on guest needs.</li>\r\n\t<li>Adhere to safety, rules, and company policies.</li>\r\n\t<li>Knowledge of proper chemical handling, cleaning techniques and use of equipment/ machinery.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Responsibilities</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Prepare and maintain suites to ensure cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards are met.</li>\r\n\t<li>Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning chemicals by extending arms over head, bending and stooping.</li>\r\n\t<li>Strip and make beds, change bed linens which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, responding promptly to requests and concerns.</li>\r\n\t<li>Keep linen closet and service landings secure.</li>\r\n\t<li>Dust furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.</li>\r\n\t<li>Vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.</li>\r\n\t<li>Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.</li>\r\n\t<li>Practice chemical safety rules and follow procedures for needles and other hazardous materials.</li>\r\n\t<li>Communicate effectively with other employees, as well as guests.</li>\r\n\t<li>Take accurate room status reports at the end of the shift.</li>\r\n\t<li>Understand information such as labels, instructions, and guest requests.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Education</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>High school diploma: experience in a large hotel environment preferred.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Skills and Abilities</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Ability to communicate in the English language (Second language is a plus).</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to perform multiple tasks.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Physical Requirements</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Must be physically fit in order to lift, pull, and push items up to 50 pounds.</li>\r\n\t<li>Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift (up to 8 hours).</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
