    "description": "<p> </p>\n<p>PFH Technology are looking for an <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">IT Support Engineer (Level 2</span>) to join our growing team.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Contract:</span> 12-month contract</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location</span>: Ringaskiddy, Co Cork – fully onsite</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span> Own transport is essential</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">IT Support Engineer</span></p>\n<p>PFH Technologies are currently recruiting for an experienced <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">IT Support Engineer </span>to join our team, working onsite for our client in Ringaskiddy.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The successful candidate will be part of an experienced team and should be a strong 'technical all-rounder'.</p>\n<p>As the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">IT Support Engineer</span>, you will be responsible for providing systems support and ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer systems and network connections. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all IT Systems.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Role:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintenance and support of Windows server systems, backups storage and Local Area Network technologies.</li>\n<li>Maintenance and support of Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory</li>\n<li>Maintenance and support of client hardware, including roll-out of new clients, upgrades and hardware repairs including network printers.</li>\n<li>Ensure all IT security policies of the company are implemented and adhered to at all times.</li>\n<li>Review and updating of all IT process documentation.</li>\n<li>Maintenance of database software.</li>\n<li>Perform system backups.</li>\n<li>Gathering requirements and translating business needs into business solutions including technical recommendations</li>\n<li>Being a key contact on site for all IT related queries</li>\n<li>Perform system backups.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>To be considered for the role you will need at least 3 years’ experience in the following:\n<ul>\n<li>Windows 10/11</li>\n<li>Storage</li>\n<li>Oracle</li>\n<li>SAN</li>\n<li>Server 2008 / 2012</li>\n<li>Exchange 2010 / 2013</li>\n<li>VMware</li>\n<li>Active Directory</li>\n<li>Networking</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Good problem-solving and communication skills.</li>\n<li>Pharmaceutical experience is an advantage.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education:</span></p>\n<p>A degree is Computer Science, BIS or related discipline is preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>PFH Technology, owned by Ricoh – a Japanese based global ICT company, is a premier provider of end-to-end ICT solutions and a managed services portfolio scaling from SMEs to large Enterprise organisations.
