This role blends <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">people leadership, program execution, and customer engagement</span>, with a focus on delivering high-reliability hardware solutions while integrating closely with software teams. You’ll play a key role in building teams, driving technical execution, and supporting business growth with strategic customers.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">People Leadership</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruit, mentor, and lead hardware and embedded engineering teams</li>\n<li>Build a strong team culture and maintain high engagement</li>\n<li>Align work to individual strengths and optimize utilization</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Program Execution (Hardware-Focused)</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead delivery of hardware-centric programs (schedule, cost, quality)</li>\n<li>Own planning and execution across design, testing, verification, and integration</li>\n<li>Manage program plans, risks, metrics, and customer reporting</li>\n<li>Drive resolution of technical roadblocks across hardware/software interfaces</li>\n<li>Support full lifecycle development including requirements, design, lab integration, and validation</li>\n<li>Partner closely with software teams to ensure seamless system performance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Customer &amp; Business Growth</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build strong relationships with customer technical stakeholders</li>\n<li>Identify and pursue new hardware and system-level opportunities</li>\n<li>Support ROMs, proposals, and technical solution development</li>\n<li>Partner with account leadership to align on strategy and growth</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience leading engineering teams in aerospace, defense, or safety-critical environments</li>\n<li>Strong background in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">hardware design and development</span> (e.g., embedded systems, FPGA, digital/analog design, or avionics hardware)</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of software integration in embedded or real-time systems</li>\n<li>Experience managing full lifecycle development (requirements through verification/validation)</li>\n<li>Strong program management experience (FP and/or T&amp;M)</li>\n<li>Proven customer-facing experience with excellent communication skills</li>\n<li>Experience supporting proposals, estimates, and technical strategy</li>\n<li>Ability to balance leadership, technical depth, and business objectives</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About Performance:</span></p>\n<p>Performance Software is engaged in the design of Real-time Embedded Software and Hardware.
