Join one of the largest construction firms in the country (Engineering News-Record [ENR]: #1 in Power, #16 Top 50 Domestic Heavy Contractors, #13 Transportation Contractor). </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Attend all required pre job meeting(s)</li>\n <li>Review the scope of each project with the Project Manager and Area Manager prior to beginning work</li>\n <li>Receive and review all union contracts prior to union pre jobs</li>\n <li>Set up job site prior to the start of the project</li>\n <li>Review and understand cost codes prior to starting work</li>\n <li>Communicate and maintain a good working relationship with FDOT, inspectors, subcontractors and owners</li>\n <li>Ensure that all work is completed according to the specifications for the project</li>\n <li>Coordinate all subcontractor operations</li>\n <li>Manage the local union relationship</li>\n <li>Supervise all on site employees for assigned projects.</li>\n <li>Ensure that all EEO requirements are being met or good faith efforts are being made to meet those requirements and that the efforts are documented.</li>\n <li>Complete all paperwork as required including but not limited to: daily timesheets with photo documentation, safe cards, weekly tool box talks, onboarding new employees, daily diaries, delivery tickets with cost codes, and fuel receipts.</li>\n <li>Send daily timesheets and diary notes from any Foreman completing timecard under the Superintendent's supervision.</li>\n <li>Ensure completed quantities are entered daily and accurately.</li>\n <li>Generate a two (2) week look ahead schedule on template provided by Project Manager including but not limited to activities, equipment, personnel/craft, permanent or construction material needs, and Q/C testing needs</li>\n <li>Verify that we have utility locates before any excavation is done</li>\n <li>Maintain all tools and equipment assigned to his/her project</li>\n <li>Ensure equipment checklists are completed as necessary</li>\n <li>Guarantee that all required materials and equipment are on site as scheduled/needed</li>\n <li>Ensure the maximum equipment utilization on the project</li>\n <li>Oversee that the work, including the work of Subcontractors, is being done in compliance with OSHA Standards and company policies</li>\n <li>Ensure that tool box talks are conducted on the first day of the work week and the sign in sheets are turned in</li>\n <li>Ensure that safe cards are being done and turned in on a daily basis</li>\n <li>Perform other work related duties as required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum GED or High School Diploma</li>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent with experience supporting structural components of roadways, highways or bridges</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What's in it for you:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Financial Wellbeing</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive pay with ongoing performance review and merit increase</li>\n <li>Salary range $125,000+</li>\n <li>401(k) with company match & Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)</li>\n <li>Flexible spending account (Healthcare & Dependent care)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Health & Wellness</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance (plan choice) - coverage for spouse, domestic partner, and children</li>\n <li>Diabetes Management, Telehealth Coverage, Prescription Drug Plan, Pet Insurance</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Family & Lifestyle</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Bereavement Leave</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Planning for the Unexpected</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Short and long-term disability, life insurance, and accidental death & dismemberment</li>\n <li>Voluntary life insurance, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity coverage</li>\n <li>Emergency Travel Assistance Program</li>\n <li>Group legal plan</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Position may be subject to pre-employment screening, which may include background check and drug testing.
