    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong>Pickering Casino Resort is seeking Full-time Food Hall Attendant!</strong></span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span>Under the direction of the Management Team, this position is responsible for providing food and beverage service to guests with an upbeat and positive attitude.&nbsp;The Food Hall Attendant is responsible for maintaining and recording daily sales on the P.O.S system in a friendly and professional manner in our Food Hall.&nbsp; Above all, this position must lead by example to create Great Experiences and Memories for all guests and colleagues!&nbsp; &nbsp;</span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong>The ideal candidate is an energetic professional with proven knowledge, skills and abilities, executing the following in support of the company’s vision, mission and values:&nbsp;</strong></span></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:26.95pt\">&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers in an upbeat, positive and professional manner;</span></li>\n <li><span>Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items available at the food hall;</span></li>\n <li><span>Process all cash and credit card transactions utilizing the P.O.S. system;</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensure accurate cash handling and balancing of sales and/or cash float at the end of the shift;</span></li>\n <li><span>Identify opportunities to upgrade products and maximize upselling opportunities to increase revenue;</span></li>\n <li><span>Attend cash and serve guests in a timely and professional manner;</span></li>\n <li><span>Wipe and clear tables to ensure cleanliness in the food hall area;</span></li>\n <li><span>Welcome and greet guests; answer general inquiries relating to food, beverages and other restaurants on the premise;</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintain clean service areas and stocks shelves as required;</span></li>\n <li><span>Report any irregular/suspicious activities, malfunctions and hazards to the supervisor immediately;</span></li>\n <li><span>Regular cleaning and sanitization of counters, trays, tables, chairs, and other equipment in the Food hall and work area;</span></li>\n <li><span>Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of food and beverage equipment as required;</span></li>\n <li><span>Adhere to all AGCO, GCGC, departmental and HR policies as they relate to functions of the role;</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations;</span></li>\n <li><span>Perform other duties as assigned as the Food &amp; Beverage Management Team.&nbsp; &nbsp;</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:26.95pt\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong>Successful applicants will demonstrate the following qualifications:</strong></span><span><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:26.95pt\">&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>High School Diploma or equivalent working experience;</span></li>\n <li><span>Minimum 3 years of Food Court experience working in a high volume multi-unit establishment or Casino;</span></li>\n <li><span>Valid Smart Serve Certificate required;</span></li>\n <li><span>Previous cash handling experience;</span></li>\n <li><span>Previous P.O.S system experience an asset;</span></li>\n <li><span>Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, customer service and communication skills;</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be people-focused and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service;</span></li>\n <li><span>Proactive and solution oriented with a drive to succeed;</span></li>\n <li><span>Demonstrate strong initiative, active listening and teamwork skills;</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintain a positive working relationship with fellow employees and management as part of a team;</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to successfully pass criminal record check.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong>Candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights.
