Our owners are proud Utahns.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Job Summary: Under the direction of the foreman, the heavy equipment operator is responsible to operate heavy equipment during assigned shift in an efficient and safe manner.  </p>\n<p><strong>In this role you will work in multiple locations: Santaquin, Levan, Mona and Salem. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities: </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Inspect, maintain, and operate equipment, designated during assigned shift, in a safe and proper way in order to avoid accidents or undue maintenance or repair work. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Operate Equipment such as Loaders, Dozers, track hoes and other heavy equipment as assigned.  </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Dozer operation includes ripping, blending, and pushing material to crusher, stripping clay and topsoil, and slope banks. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Loader operation includes feeding hoppers, crushing plants, portable plants, stockpile and load trucks in efficient and productive manner.  </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Maintain insurable driving record. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ensure a safe and healthful work environment at all times. </p></li>\n</ul> \n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Experience: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>High school diploma or general education degree (GED). </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>2 years of related working experience.  </p></li>\n</ul> \n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong><strong>:</strong> The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. </p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Sitting: 85% of the time. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Standing: 15% of the time and may occasionally walk to access the machinery/equipment. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Driving: 85% of the time. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Weight Lifted: Must frequently be able to lift and/or carry 0 - 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. May occasionally lift items over their head. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Physical Movement: May frequently push, pull, climb, crawl, bend, stoop, crouch, squat, kneel, grab, and reach. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Speaking / Listening: Must be able to effectively communicate with coworkers, supervision, follow instructions, and understand safety requirements. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Working Conditions: Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions while being exposed to high levels of noise, grease, and dust associated with construction project.
