Join our innovative and dynamic company as we build, test and operate the small spacecraft of the future.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>As a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Product Manager II</span>, you'll own the technical direction of one of BCT's product lines — ADCS, star trackers, reaction wheels, power, or another BCT product area — assigned based on business need and your background. These are the building blocks that have enabled hundreds of spacecraft and missions, and you'll help shape where your product goes next.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You'll navigate between customers, engineering, and the business — building the roadmap, framing tradeoffs, and helping the team converge when priorities compete and the path isn't obvious. You're early in your product career but you take ownership naturally, ask the right questions, and don't wait for perfect information to start moving things forward.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You'll lead through influence rather than authority — aligning stakeholders, clarifying priorities, and giving engineers the context they need to build the right solution. You care about products that are relevant, repeatable, and valuable over time, and about turning real customer needs and market signals into clear direction.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>BCT's mission is to enable space missions that expand the frontiers of science and defense. This is a high-ownership, low-ceremony role with room to grow, and your job is to carry that mission forward for the products you help lead. If you're the kind of person who meets an ambiguous problem with curiosity and then goes to work clearing the constraints in the way, you'll do well here.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Title:<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Technical Product Manager II</span><br></span></p>\n<p><span>Position Type: Full Time</span></p>\n<p><span>Pay Range: $105,000 - $175,000</span></p>\n<p><span>(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)</span></p>\n<p><span>On-site position at our Boulder</span>, CO location (work locations are subject to change based on business need).</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Benefits:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Employer sponsored health, dental, and vision benefits effective the first of the month following hire date</li>\n<li><span>Life insurance</span></li>\n<li><span>401k (matching 4% with a minimum 5% contribution)</span></li>\n<li><span>Generous PTO (3 weeks of vacation + 3 floating holidays, 2 weeks of sick time, 7 paid holidays throughout the year) and parental leave</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Own the product roadmap</span> for your assigned product line — keeping it current as customer needs, missions, and the market evolve.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Be the technical voice of the customer.</span> Turn mission requirements, feedback, and market trends into clear priorities engineering can act on.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Support the external story.</span> Help prepare conference material and technical papers, and contribute to customer conversations that show what's now feasible.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Contribute to customer technical exchanges and reviews</span>, communicating status, risk, and direction clearly.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Run product trade studies </span>that balance performance, cost, manufacturability, and mission goals.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Support proposals and investment planning.</span> Contribute technical content, ROMs, schedules, and risk inputs, and help scope IRAD/CRAD opportunities.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Help keep the product line consistent.</span> Support technical guidance on interfaces and design intent.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A technical degree (Systems, Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or similar) and 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.</li>\n<li>Strong engineering fundamentals, with the ability to think through interactions between engineering domains — mechanical, electrical, software, thermal, and more.</li>\n<li>Exposure to a product or subsystem across its lifecycle, with a growing grasp of concept through qualification, production, and sustainment, including TRLs.</li>\n<li>The ability to work across Engineering, BD, Program Management, and Operations.</li>\n<li>Clear written and verbal communication.</li>\n<li>Other responsibilities as assigned</li>\n<li>May include personnel management responsibilities</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline</li>\n<li>3+ years of relevant engineering experience</li>\n<li>GNC engineering experience — extra points for familiarity with BCT systems</li>\n<li>Spacecraft systems engineering experience with direct experience in a subsystem BCT supports (ADCS, Power, C&amp;DH, etc.)</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with a component solution BCT supplies or competes against (star trackers, reaction wheels, CMGs, torque rods, sun sensors, SADAs, batteries, solar arrays)</li>\n<li>Early product management, product development, or technical leadership exposure</li>\n<li>Configurable or variant-based products</li>\n<li>Trade studies and parametric analysis</li>\n<li>Familiarity with specs, SOWs, and subcontract technical inputs</li>\n<li>Flight-program experience under schedule pressure</li>\n<li>MATLAB or Python</li>\n<li>JIRA or similar planning/tracking tools</li>\n<li>A \"figure it out and get it done\" instinct</li>\n<li>Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Working Conditions:</p>\n<p>This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.
