    "requisitionDescription": "<div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.28.20/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><h1 id=\"isPasted\">Sewing Manager</h1><h2>General Summary</h2><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Orbus, a leading visual communication company, is looking for a Sewing Manager to oversee our expanding sewing department at our Las Vegas facility. &nbsp;</p><p>The right candidate will possess a strong eye for detail, organization skills as well as great leadership abilities. &nbsp;We are an aggressively growing company looking for candidates seeking long-term employment that will mature and develop with our business and who wants to be rewarded for their positive contribution. &nbsp;This is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to further their career in large format digital printing.</p><p>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;The right candidate must be &ldquo;hands on&rdquo; with the ability to work under tight deadlines and commit to extra hours and weekends if needed. This position will require a comprehensive understanding of sewing and textiles, as well as management experience including but not limited to:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>In-depth understanding of sewing processes and techniques for finishing textiles.</li><li>Managing in a fast-paced environment and the ability to meet multiple deadlines.</li><li>Knowledgeable with sewing equipment such as single needle, double needle, serge, overlock, walking foot and Cronos machinery.&nbsp;</li><li>Recognize when team members require further training &amp; determine action plan for improvement and give input to Graphics Manager.</li><li>Ability to interview prospective candidates and assimilate new hires into the sewing department</li><li>Responsible for performance reviews, developing employees and offering career advancement opportunities as they are available.</li><li>Work directly with management to determine pay increases, bonus structures, etc.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Must be detail oriented and extremely organized.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work well with other departments of the company.</li><li>Experience working in large-format printing or digital graphics is a plus.</li><li>Experience in the tradeshow industry a plus.</li><li>Experience with knit fabrics is a plus.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office.&nbsp;</li><li>Production management experience required.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Daily Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Daily review of all sewing projects to determine if they meet standard quality requirements.
