As a Bid Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in elevating the quality of our pursuit strategies and submissions, helping our teams deliver compelling, client-focused proposals that win.<br>You’ll partner closely with technical leaders and business stakeholders, bringing structure, insight and storytelling expertise to complex bids - freeing our experts to focus on what they do best while you lead the path to success.</p><p><strong>What you’ll do</strong><br>You’ll take ownership of strategic bids from concept through to submission, ensuring excellence at every stage. Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Lead and manage pursuit strategy development and proposal submissions aligned to WSP frameworks</li><li>Guide teams to create clear, compelling and client-focused content that meets evaluation criteria</li><li>Facilitate bid workshops, including win themes, messaging and storyboarding</li><li>Coordinate, author and review high-quality proposal documentation and presentations</li><li>Proactively manage multiple bids across varying scale and complexity</li><li>Promote best practice across bid writing, review, production and knowledge management</li><li>Support governance processes (DOA, advisory panels) and ensure submissions are approval-ready</li><li>Work with business leaders to develop tailored client solutions and offerings</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>You’ll be a trusted advisor—providing direction, constructive challenge and leadership to lift the quality and consistency of our bids.</p><p><strong>What you’ll bring</strong><br>We’re looking for a confident and experienced bid professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment:</p><ul><li>~8+ years’ experience in bidding, sales, marketing or related disciplines</li><li>Background in professional services (highly regarded)</li><li>Strong understanding of pursuit processes and bid best practice</li><li>Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills</li><li>Ability to influence, engage and build trust with stakeholders across all levels</li><li>Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities</li><li>Experience facilitating workshops and driving collaboration</li><li>Proficiency across Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint)</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Degree in marketing, communications, journalism or equivalent experience</li></ul><p><br><strong>Why WSP?</strong><br>At WSP, you’ll be part of a global professional services firm committed to delivering future-ready solutions.
