The work covers full replacement and commissioning of rooftop and air-handling units, ventilation upgrades, and long-term maintenance planning. We are seeking a licensed <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">HVAC </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">T</span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">echnician</span> to lead the technical execution and ensure reliable, efficient operation throughout both the retrofit and ongoing maintenance phases.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>What’s in it for you</em></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hourly Rate: $35 – $52 (based on experience and license level)</li>\n<li>Overtime pays, on-call allowance, and annual performance bonus</li>\n<li>Extended Health, Dental, and Vision Benefits</li>\n<li>Life and Disability Insurance</li>\n<li>Paid Vacation Leave</li>\n<li>Centrally located modern and spacious offices close to Eglinton and Leslie</li>\n<li>Regular Company Social Events</li>\n<li>Learning and Professional Development Support</li>\n<li>Tremendous opportunities for Growth and Development</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>How you will contribute:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform retrofit, installation, and commissioning of HVAC and ventilation systems.</li>\n<li>Inspect, clean, and service major rooftop and air-handling units as part of preventive maintenance.</li>\n<li>Diagnose and repair refrigeration, mechanical, and control system faults.</li>\n<li>Replace or calibrate components such as motors, valves, compressors, and sensors.</li>\n<li>Coordinate with electrical and controls contractors to ensure code compliance and safety.</li>\n<li>Support BAS (Building Automation System) monitoring and performance optimization.</li>\n<li>Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and parts inventory.</li>\n<li>Conduct seasonal start-up and shutdown procedures following company safety and best- practice guidelines.</li>\n<li>Support emergency or high-priority maintenance tasks as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>What you bring to the table:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ontario 313A Refrigeration &amp; Air Conditioning Mechanic</span> license (Compulsory Trade).</li>\n<li>Valid <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">TSSA Gas Technician G2 or G1</span></li>\n<li>ODP Certification (Ozone Depletion Prevention) required for refrigerant handling.</li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial or industrial HVAC retrofit, installation, or service.</li>\n<li>Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Building Automation Systems (BAS)</span></li>\n<li>Diploma or Certificate in HVAC, Mechanical, or Electrical field an asset.</li>\n<li>Excellent awareness of safety practices and maintenance standards.</li>\n<li>Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a small team environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Office Location and Working Hours: Leslie Street Office, Mon to Fri 9:00am to 5:30pm.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Visit our </span><a href=\"https://ott.ca/careers/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Careers - OTT Financial Group </a><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">and apply now.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>OTT Financial Group is committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible environment where all employees feel valued and respected, and where every employee can realize their potential.
