Essential Duties:
Operate the required facilities and acquire data. Assist the research associates and faculty in enhancing the computer programs to process the data. Organize technical meetings as required by the project. Write technical reports based on the analysis of the results. Make technical presentations for the sponsors. Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with work in research facilities, especially TU’s North Campus Competence in computer programming and/or coding Required Qualifications :
Master’s degree in petroleum engineering or closely related field Experience in a computer language such as Python and MATLAB Knowledge of fluid flow in pipes Must have a valid OPT card or eligible to work in the US. Physical Demands
Typing/Keyboardin g: Proficiency in typing and using a computer keyboard for extended periods.
Speaking: Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Reaching : Ability to reach for items on shelves or in cabinets.
Manual Dexterity : Ability to use hands and fingers to operate control panels, open and close valves.
Ability to work outdoors; requires standing, squatting, reaching, and occasionally lifting more than 25 pounds.
