The consultant supports services to families, community members and potential and existing childcare providers.</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Support OneSky’s mission, vision and values.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Support and maintain accreditation standards, OneSky policies and procedures and program procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Participate in OneSky meetings and events as required, and contribute in positive ways to the Society’s plans, activities and image.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Provide support to parents who choose informal care providers that are not listed on the CCRR registry.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Respond to information requests from parents, care providers, and the general public.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Coordinate support to care providers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Coordinate services to parents.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Maintain a current awareness of developments and regulations in the industry and communicate this information, as needed, to participants, families, childcare providers, community professionals and members of the public. Adapt the program to reflect/accommodate changes in government policy and/or regulation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Ensure resources and service delivery reflect and enhance an Indigenous world view.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Participate in the recruitment process as required including interviewing, orientation and training.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Perform other related duties as required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Adhere to Child Care Resource &amp; Referral service standards and procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Use of personal vehicles to travel to CCRR service areas to support families and care providers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Participate in meetings, conferences and other events that may involve long work days, and/or evening and weekend work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Provide, maintain and adhere to services as outlined in the CCRR Program Standards.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><em>Program Duties</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Ensure the recruitment and approval of childcare providers is carried out in accordance with the OneSky standards, Community Care Facilities Licensing and CCRR Provincial standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Ensure that the procedures for referring families in need of childcare to registered and licensed childcare providers are in accordance with OneSky standards and CCRR Provincial standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Provide support and outreach to registered and licensed childcare providers by offering programming ideas, support, and other resources.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Offer outreach services including drop in and networking opportunities for families.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Provide registration, referrals, consultation, drop in and networking opportunities for care providers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Maintain a toy and resource library for all care providers, community members and parents, ensuring safety by doing, at the minimum, annual safety checks.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Lift and carry resource library toys and large equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Provide training and workshops for care providers, community members and families.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Provide consultation and support to care providers, community members and families.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Assist with the preparation of a bi-monthly newsletter for distribution to community members and childcare providers including local and provincial information, community services, government grants, Affordable Child Care Benefit and services that support children and families.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Participate in provincial and regional CCRR meetings and conferences as required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Advocate for quality childcare in our community and province.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);
