We transform behavioral health systems through innovation, creativity and collaboration.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Description: </span>Anchorage Crisis Services Supervisor will provide immediate access to services to clients presenting immediate needs. This individual will offer access and linkage to community resources to improve the client’s quality of life.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">R<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">OLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide direct supervision of the crisis peer team to include the Mobile Outreach Team and address<br>programmatic needs with the Crisis Program Manager.</li>\n<li>Oversee the education and training required when a new employee joins the team.</li>\n<li>Provide oversight, implementation, and planning of the Launch Pad program.</li>\n<li>Maintain community resource contacts and develop MOU’s when needed.</li>\n<li>Provides direct peer support to clients in active crisis to include linkages to assessments, mental health<br>evaluations, housing and community resources.</li>\n<li>Assist clients in setting and pursuing their crisis management goals.</li>\n<li>Functions as a role model to clients.</li>\n<li>Serves as a liaison to providers and the treatment team.</li>\n<li>Provides motivational interviewing, social, and emotional support.</li>\n<li>Helps clients understand and employ recovery strategies.</li>\n<li>Maintains an active awareness of the crisis support services that are available in the state of Alaska.</li>\n<li>Works to motivate clients through positive means, highlighting strengths and resources.</li>\n<li>Participate in training in areas related to improvement of service delivery.</li>\n<li>Models and teaches clients vital life skills that will aid in their success.</li>\n<li>Advocates for clients in treatment settings and within the community.</li>\n<li>Shares lived experiences and assists in community, relationship and skill building.</li>\n<li>Interact with the clients in a manner conducive to their safety, dignity, privacy, and security.</li>\n<li>Attends and/or facilitates weekly staff meetings and works collaboratively with other staff in case<br>staffing/review</li>\n<li>Engages in all assigned peer outreach activities in the community.</li>\n<li>Must have strong writing skills with attention to detail and accuracy of fact reporting.</li>\n<li>Completes timely documentation in client’s EHR, using DAP note format for each recovery service provided.<br>All documentation is to comply with overseeing state or federal guidelines.</li>\n<li>Maintains current and up to date data as required.</li>\n<li>Assists in completing grant reporting or gathering of data for the Crisis Program Manager to complete<br>quarterly grant reporting.</li>\n<li>Demonstrates ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.</li>\n<li>Administer UAs and breathalyzers as needed.</li>\n<li>Exhibits competency in personal recovery and use of coping skills.</li>\n<li>Provides assistance of all Anchorage services when appropriate and available.<br></li>\n<li>Additional job duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Associate's degree in human services or related field - preferred but not required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">If in recovery, one year of continuous sobriety prior to hire and active and continuing participation in a recovery support program, such as a 12-step program.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must obtain CDC I O within 4 years of hire.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must obtain PSP I within 2 years of hire.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Valid Alaska driver’s license and insurable under TRUE NORTH RECOVERY INC’s automotive insurance, which requires a driver to be at least 21 years of age.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Continued employment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory state and federal background check.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;
