    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;\"><span><strong>About The Role</strong></span></p><p><span>The CNC Machinist will set up, operate and maintain computer numerical controls (CNC) machines to produce high-quality, precision parts and components in accordance with Engineering Specifications and blueprints.&nbsp; This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, exceptional problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.</span></p><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;\"><span><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:square;padding-left:24px;\"><li><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-top:0in;\"><span>Set up and operate various CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) including installing and adjusting fixtures, cutting tools and materials.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-top:0in;\"><span>Use of Mazatrol software and conduct off-line programing</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-top:0in;\"><span>Read and interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints and G-code programs to determine machining procedures and specifications.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-top:0in;\"><span>Use measuring equipment, micrometers, calipers, tape measures and other tools to ensure product meets required standards.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-top:0in;\"><span>Make real-time adjustments to controls to ensure part precision and accuracy.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-top:0in;\"><span>Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to prevent downtime, including lubrication, cleaning and tool replacement.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-top:0in;\"><span>Follows all safety procedures and regulations.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height:normal;\"><span>Perform additional duties assigned within the department.</span></p></li></ul><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;\"><span><strong>Candidate Requirements</strong></span></p><p style=\"line-height:normal;\"><span>High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in CNC machining or a related field preferred.&nbsp; Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on CNC operation and machine setup.&nbsp;Off-line programming and Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&amp;T).</span></p><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:right .5in;\"><span><strong>Physical Demands &amp; Work Environment</strong></span></p><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:right .5in;\"><span>The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.&nbsp;Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</span></p><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin:0in 0in 0in .5in;tab-stops:right .5in;\"><i><span>Physical demands:&nbsp; While performing duties of job, employee is required to stand; walk; sit; climb; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.&nbsp; Employees must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.&nbsp; Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.&nbsp; At times, must use ladders to work at heights of up to 12 feet.</span></i></p><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-left:.5in;tab-stops:right .5in;\"><i><span>Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to dust, fumes and is near moving machinery.&nbsp;</span></i></p>",
