    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Opportunity:  Host</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Greet and escort guests to restaurant tables in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards.</p>\n<p><strong>Your Growth Path</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Food Server or Guest Service Agent – Restaurant Supervisor or Front Office Supervisor</p>\n<p><strong>Your Focus</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer choice of seating, escort to the dining table and present menu.</li>\n <li>Read, maintain and make daily entries in the log book to coordinate communication between shifts and management.</li>\n <li>Maintain proper set-up of the dining room.</li>\n <li>Assist as needed or requested with service. </li>\n <li>Receive records and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant.</li>\n <li>Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.</li>\n <li>Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as requested by management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your Background and Skill</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent .</li>\n <li>Previous customer service experience preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment and Context</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work schedule varies and will include working on holidays and weekends.</li>\n <li>Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 30 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What We Believe</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>People Are Our Capability – Hearts That Serve – Only Excellence – Stay Nimble - Own It</p>\n<h2>About Us </h2>\n<p>Salt Wood Kitchen & Oysterette - the culinary destination of the Monterey area.
