From large scale community events to small intimate programs, our robust internship program has successfully mentored, guided, and prepared individuals interested in having a career in events since 2009. We have helped students satisfy school credits and requirements through paid and unpaid internship opportunities and are ready to prepare you to enter the event planning field upon completion.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>An internship with Risher </span><span>offers a comprehensive experience in the event industry. Our interns work alongside our Lifestyle Directors to see first-hand how we construct, schedule, and execute community events and programs based on our client’s needs. From the initial understanding of what the client is looking for to securing space, assembling activities, and executing all aspects of the event, our directors and interns are involved with every detail of making the vision come to fruition.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>Risher </span><span>focuses on ensuring the clients/communities receive the event they imagined, and all attendees have a safe and pleasant experience. We offer event and activity management to the highest standard and aim to provide unparalleled customer service to all individuals. Interns will experience how our </span><span>directors</span><span> integrate their creativity and passion into reality through their daily operations.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>Risher interns will complete most of their internship hours at one or two locations but will have the opportunity to visit all sites and speak with each Lifestyle </span><span>D</span><span>irector about their personal experience within the industry.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>Risher Amenity Management Internship Objectives</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Work alongside Lifestyle Directors</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Participate in the planning of various sizes and styles of community events and programs</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Assist in the design of activities and details required for each</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Assist in marketing and advertising of events</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Set the standard for and provide clients and attendees with exceptional customer service</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Observe and shadow Directors and staff at events</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Receive hands on experience by attending and helping at events</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Create itemized budgets, site maps, and marketing materials through various mediums</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Learn about space designing, facility management, staffing, and administrative operations</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Visit a variety of sites to speak with Lifestyle Directors</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Experience different locations and community amenities available for events</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>Risher Amenity Management Internship Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Must be seeking a degree</span></li>\n<li><br><span>CPR/AED certification required or must be obtained with 30 days of start of internship</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Must be at least 18 years of age</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Must be dependable and have reliable transportation</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Must be punctual, friendly, and have a positive attitude</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Must always maintain a professional appearance</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Must be organized and able to perform a variety of tasks including laborious assignments</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Ability to multi-task, work independently and with a team, and perform detail-oriented functions</span></li>\n</ul>",
