Additionally, we provide Annual Leave, Sick Leave, Holiday Pay, Educational Assistance, Certification /Training Reimbursement, and a 401(k)-retirement savings contribution plan (with employer match).</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>This is a talent pipeline opening. </strong><strong>We are building a network of qualified talent for general consideration of future full time or temporary Systems Engineer job openings. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>GLOTECH, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the corporate office of United Parks & Resorts operation in Orlando, Florida. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Managing and monitoring all installed systems, applications and databases</li>\n <li>Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools</li>\n <li>Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems, applications and database availability</li>\n <li>Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and work with developers to implement those fixes</li>\n <li>Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies</li>\n <li>Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks</li>\n <li>Follow enterprise application development best practices, standards and guidelines</li>\n <li>Partner with Business Analysis, Architecture, Developers and Information Security resources to interpret and deliver code requirements.</li>\n <li>Provide technical advice and assistance in terms of technical troubleshooting and resolving significant issues to root cause and take the lead role in resolving an issue</li>\n <li>Expand existing software to meet the changing needs of our key demographics</li>\n <li>Capable of creating new software products from the ground up, staying true to our company’s core values and needs while lending your own creativity to the mix</li>\n <li>Produce technical specifications along with code changes</li>\n <li>Focus on creating fault-tolerant programming</li>\n <li>Create scalable, automated solutions for our customer base</li>\n <li>Conduct unit testing for existing and created code to ensure compatibility and stability</li>\n <li>Configure automated builds and releases to enable quick development cycles</li>\n <li>Participate in the design of information and operational support systems</li>\n <li>Liaise with vendors, business partners and other IT personnel for problem resolution</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject or 6 years of practical IT industry experience</li>\n <li>Excellent n-Tier architecture client/server and web development skills using Microsoft technologies (.NET Framework, ASP.Net, UWP, C#)</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability and experience in providing development and support on large scale, corporate business applications in the following areas: Object Oriented (OO) analysis, design and development; Design Patterns; Programming Language - C#; DBMS - Microsoft SQL Server</li>\n <li>Experience with developing .NET Core applications</li>\n <li>Demonstrated success developing and deploying REST-based micro-services</li>\n <li>Understanding of relational database concepts and experience using SQL</li>\n <li>Experience with automated unit testing and automated software build processes using VSTS</li>\n <li>Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery</li>\n <li>Experience with an iterative, Agile/Scrum/Kanban process</li>\n <li>Experience in software imaging and deployment tools and methodologies </li>\n <li>Experience in writing and updating Microsoft’s automated task framework tool PowerShell </li>\n <li>Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)</li>\n <li>Hybrid schedule with availability to work onsite in Orlando, FL as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h1><strong>Preferred Skills and Experience</strong></h1>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with Mobile Devices for POS and Customer Facing Applications</li>\n <li>Experience with Point of Sale Software Support, Development and Deployment</li>\n <li>Technical Writing Skills</li>\n <li>Theme Park, Admissions or Hospitality experience</li>\n <li>Demonstrated initiative</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills</li>\n <li>Effective team player</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>GLOTECH, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer - Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.</strong></p>",
