Join us for an exciting opportunity as a part time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant&nbsp;</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>What You'll Do</strong></span></p><p><span>As A Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant you will assist the OTR &nbsp;and administer Occupational Therapy patient care programs as planned with and directed by OT. You will promote total rehabilitation services and act as a team member to treatment plan.</span></p><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><span><strong>Your Responsibilities Will Include:</strong></span></p></div><ul><li>&nbsp;Administers Occupational Therapy patient care programs as planned with and directed by OTR. Receives direct OTR supervision for 10% of treatment time.<ul><li>&nbsp;Assists the OTR when performing tests, evaluations and/or complex treatment &nbsp;procedures,&nbsp;whenever necessary.</li><li>&nbsp;Follows established departmental procedures and observes safety precautions during &nbsp;treatment&nbsp; implementation</li><li>&nbsp;Confers on a daily basis or as deemed necessary with the supervising OTR in order to &nbsp;progress the&nbsp;patient's program effectively.</li></ul></li><li>Promotes total rehabilitation services and acts as a team member to treatment plan.</li><li>Attends and participates in departmental staff and team meetings, in-service programs and continuing education.</li><li>Maintains accurate records of patient treatment and equipment charges and submit required statistical and billing information.</li><li>Write formal progress and/or discharge summary notes (co-signed by OTR) to physician on a timely basis.</li><li>Participate in departmental program development and take responsibility for special clinics and programs as assigned.</li><li>Assist in the maintenance and organization of the work area and equipment noting safety and serviceable defects.</li></ul><p><span><strong>You're a great fit for this role if you have:</strong></span></p><ul><li>Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from a school approved by the AOTA and AMA</li><li>Registered or eligible for registry by the AOTA</li><li>Current license by the State Board of Registration in Medicine</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><ul><li><p>25-28/hr.</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p><strong>Who We Are</strong></p><p>Easterseals is a standard-bearer for creating equity and access for people with disabilities and other barriers to long term self-sufficiency.
