    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operation and providing support in the aquatics department. </p>\n<p><em><strong>You will have the opportunity to interview for the following roles: Lead, Supervisor, or Senior Supervisor</strong></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What's In It For You</strong>Free tickets for your family & friends!Promotion opportunities!Scholarship opportunities!Exclusive employee parties, events, giveaways, discounts, and more!Free access to Atlanta area attractions and other regional theme parks!Job and Career Building SkillsFlexible scheduling</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities Include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensuring the safe operation of the park.</li>\n <li>Assist with the aquatics work crew projects.</li>\n <li>Assisting with overseeing the aquatics staff through daily training, coaching, discipline, and rewards as necessary.</li>\n <li>Assisting with department and division training.</li>\n <li>Works an assigned life guarding / ride attendant position when necessary</li>\n <li>Receive and maintain a High Pass / Exceeds in all Ellis and Department Audits</li>\n <li>Working with Operations Staff to ensure department and park goals are achieved.</li>\n <li>Ensuring Guest First Standards are followed and enforced.</li>\n <li>Maintaining high throughput goals.</li>\n <li>Handling guest comments and complaints.</li>\n <li>Ensuring all training requirements and testing procedures are adhered to as set forth by Six Flags.</li>\n <li>Other tasks assigned by Aquatics or Park Management team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Payrate:</strong> $15.50 - $17.50/hr.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 1 - 2 years of aquatics experience (lifeguard, ride attendant)</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.</li>\n <li>Must possess an enthusiastic and positive Guest First Orientation and enjoy working with people.</li>\n <li>Ability to motivate with excellent leadership skills.</li>\n <li>Must be self-motivated.</li>\n <li>Must achieve, receive and maintain Ellis and Associates Special Facilities Certification.</li>\n <li>Outstanding performance as a team member.</li>\n <li>Must be able to respond immediately, adapt to, and oversee all emergency situations.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work a flexible schedule.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to walk and stand for up to 8 or more hours at a time. Applicants must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds.</li>\n</ul>",
