(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.  LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Edison, NJ.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage and track the collection of Environmental Project Declarations (EPDs) for construction projects within clients portfolio. </li>\n <li>Manage and track the collection of Construction Waste Management (CWM) Plans and CWM monthly reporting for construction projects within the clients portfolio.</li>\n <li>Communicate among a wide range of groups and individuals involved in a project to ensure EPD and CWM submittals are completed accurately.</li>\n <li>Ensure quality and compliance of EPD and CWM submittals through review and verification processes.</li>\n <li>Consult with Project Managers, Team Leaders, consultant designers and contractors regarding EPD and CWM submittals.</li>\n <li>Provide feedback to supervisor regarding improvements to the EPD and CWM programs.</li>\n <li>Problem solve and troubleshoot process-based challenges and technical issues as needed.</li>\n <li>Represent the Division as a stakeholder in various interagency working groups related to EPDs and CWM, with support from supervisor.</li>\n <li>Keep up to date on industry trends related to embodied carbon and construction waste management and deconstruction.</li>\n <li>Attend conferences and develop relationships with industry leaders.</li>\n <li>Some travel may be required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in architecture, architectural technology, building science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering technology, construction technology, or related field.</li>\n <li>Master’s degree in architecture, architectural technology, building science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering technology, construction technology, or related field may substitute for one year experience.</li>\n <li><strong>Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction </strong>involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation, with sufficient knowledge of all facets of construction and construction documents.</li>\n <li><strong>Professional experience in preparing, implementing or reviewing plans and technical specifications</strong>, coordinating and communicating with construction material manufacturers and suppliers, and document control.</li>\n <li>Experience advancing initiatives from development through implementation and completion.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates an interest in advancing sustainability and resiliency within the built environment.</li>\n <li>Competent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Basic technical writing proficiency.</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.</li>\n <li>Envision, Well-Building or LEED certification is a plus.</li>\n <li>Engineer-in-Training certificate or proof of passing the FE, or Professional Engineering license in NY is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, and a positive work environment</p>\n<p>Compensation range:  Min: $80,000  - Max: $95,000/yr </p>\n<p>The range provided is the salary that the firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. </p>\n<p>Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>LiRo-Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
