    "description": "<p>We are seeking highly motivated and independent professionals to join our Audit team for<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Forvis Mazars in Singapore</span>. The Manager manages a portfolio of engagements to deliver high quality audit services. You will provide leadership on audit engagements which includes engagement planning, execution and finalization of an audit engagement. You will be fully accountable for the audit engagement and ensures that the engagement process against budget and timeline is closely monitored. You will develop and maintain long-term client relationships.</p>\n<p>You will review and provide key technical expertise to ensure the quality of audit work performed is in compliance with professional standards and requirements. You will also undertake a role in professional development activities such as training, staff recruitment and performance management.<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Roles &amp; Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify client’s business and key risks.</li>\n<li>Analyse the impact of changing business environment on client’s business.</li>\n<li>Implement and provide input to engagement plan.</li>\n<li>Perform assurance engagement in compliance with professional standards.</li>\n<li>Obtain evidence to corroborate information.</li>\n<li>Harness technology to gather and analyze data.</li>\n<li>Propose resolutions to significant accounting and auditing issues.</li>\n<li>Review information accompanying the assurance report in accordance with applicable framework.</li>\n<li>Identify areas for personal development to improve work performance.</li>\n<li>Facilitate effective communication within the cross functional and culturally diverse team.</li>\n<li>To oversee the audit support team responsible for support services.</li>\n<li>Coach junior team members to achieve technical competency and efficient performance.</li>\n<li>Act in accordance with professional standards when providing assurance services.</li>\n<li>Identify ethical conflicts in the work environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Accountancy, preferably with a recognized professional qualification</li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably from an international accounting firm</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills to work effectively and efficiently across all levels.</li>\n<li>Good understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, audit standards and accounting principles.</li>\n<li>Possess positive “can do” attitude to challenges and the agility to multitask effectively across competing priorities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Forvis Mazars Asia Pacific Services Sdn Bhd (FMAPS) is a Malaysia incorporated company and a member firm of Forvis Mazars, an international Advisory and Accountancy Group that operates as a single integrated partnership.
