This position is also responsible for providing legal counsel and guidance to the Company’s executives, professionals, and other employees relating to the Company’s business activities.</p>\n<h2><p>Job Highlights</p></h2>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong> <em>(The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation)</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>• Provides in-house legal counsel to support timely completion of a high volume of complex contracting requests, with an emphasis on vendor and technology agreements. • Advises on healthcare regulatory issues in connection with contracting processes and business operations. • Manages vendor agreements across the enterprise including drafting, negotiating, executing, and updating as applicable. • Oversees all aspects of contract lifecycle management, including proactive management of expirations and renewals through close collaboration with business leaders. • Assists business leaders with developing and implementing processes, procedures, and systems to promote risk avoidance and prevent litigation. • Identifies and analyzes legal issues with an understanding of how to appropriately balance risk and the Company’s ability to pursue its business interests. • Develops and conducts training on various legal topics such as best practices for contract negotiations and prevention of legal disputes. • Responds promptly to the business while delivering efficient and high-quality legal service. • Works on a wide range of projects and with Company’s executives, professionals, and other employees at various levels within the organization.</p>\n<h2><p>Qualifications</p></h2>\n<h2>KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from ABA accredited university and membership in good standing of State Bar.</li>\n <li>4+ years legal experience with an emphasis in healthcare regulatory matters as well as complex vendor and technology contract negotiations.</li>\n <li>Excellent organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills; practical and effective problem-solving skills; strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; and the ability to exercise sound judgment, provide commercially focused legal advice, and appropriately consider risks to the Company.</li>\n <li>Exceptional attention to detail is critical for this role. </li>\n <li>Candidate must be able to interact effectively and collaboratively with the Company’s executives, professionals, and other employees, as well as with in-house legal colleagues and outside counsel.</li>\n <li>Work well independently and within a team environment, both in person and virtually.</li>\n <li>Well-developed level of business experience supporting clients and advising on specialty law matters.</li>\n <li>Experience with healthcare laws and regulations, strongly preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><em>*The physical demands described here are representative of those that may need to be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
