    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>MEP Manager will lead the effort in coordinating and managing the MEP trades on major construction projects. This candidate will work with the project team to ensure successful completion of all MEP trade work.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Assist MEP Specialists, Schedulers and Project Team with developing detailed CPM schedules for all MEP installation activities, including cost and resource loading.<br>2.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Conduct site visits to review the quality of subcontractor installation, noting deficiencies, and working with project team to resolve issues. Review subcontractor change order pricing when requested to assist project team.<br>3.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Coordinate activities, materials procurement and other related activities with the MEP Specialist and Project Team and communicate progress and prepare appropriate reports as needed.<br>4.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Estimate and scope MEP trades during pre?construction and review contract documents, making suggestions/modifications as they relate to the MEP trades.<br>5.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Facilitate developing plans with the MEP Specialist and Project Team for the start?up of MEP systems and commissioning of project.<br>6.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Facilitates the 3?D coordination process to resolve all conflicts prior to start of installations.<br>7.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Manage and lead MEP subcontractors throughout duration of the project (from groundbreaking through commissioning and turnover to owner).<br>8.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Oversee MEP Specialists on different projects and ensure consistent execution of deliverables.<br>9.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Provide Constructability Reviews through analysis of the contract documents and subcontracts.<br>10.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Provide warranty support and resolution plans to address open items.<br>11.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Represent Sundt Construction in regard to the MEP process at weekly Owner and contractors meetings<br>12.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Validate MEP qualifications and scope clarifications on proposals for new work.<br>13.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Work with MEP Specialist and Project Team with project logistics and temporary facility plans and review and approve material and equipment for MEP systems prior to installation.</p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>MEP Manager will lead the effort in coordinating and managing the MEP trades on major construction projects. Ideally have a combined total of 10+ years in Project Management and/or Superintendent experience and have a background in either Mechanical Engineering, Commissioning, or BMS Controls Programming.<br>2.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.<br>3.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Experience managing project teams in a construction environment.<br>4.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Experienced dealing with MEP subcontracts and subcontractors.<br>5.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Extensive understanding of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and low?voltage systems.<br>6.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;General understanding of Building Codes, Mechanical Codes, Electrical Codes, Plumbing Codes, and Green Building Codes as they relate to construction of project.<br>7.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;MEP Manager must have an in depth knowledge of LEED especially as it relates to the Fundamental and Enhanced commissioning credits.<br>8.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs as well as Primavera P6.<br>&nbsp;<br>Note: Job Description is subject to change at any time and may include other duties as assigned.</p><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis<br>2.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures<br>3.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis<br>4.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Will interact with people and technology frequently during a shift/work day<br>5.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Will lift, push or pull objects pounds on an occasional basis<br>6.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.<br>7.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors</p><p><strong>Safety Level</strong></p><p>Safety-Sensitive</p><p>Note: Jobs with the Safety-Sensitive designation are those that include tasks or duties that the employer reasonably believes could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others such as operating a vehicle, operating equipment, operating machinery or power tools, repairing/maintaining the operation of any vehicle/equipment, the handling/disposal/transport of hazardous materials, or the handling/treatment/disposal of potentially flammable/combustible materials.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>#LI-HW1</p>",
