Performance in this role directly influences product excellence, customer satisfaction, and the company’s overall profitability. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The QA/CL Technician ensures compliance with quality standards across all stages of the production process. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities and Qualifications</h2>\n<strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong>\n<strong>Incoming Material Quality Control</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure the Receiving Department inspects all incoming materials for required quality parameters upon arrival</li>\n <li>Confirm that quality records for incoming materials are accurately completed and maintained</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>In-Process Product Quality (Production Stage)</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure the Production Department performs hourly quality checks on all produced doors</li>\n <li>Confirm that hourly quality records are properly completed and maintained</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Finished Product Quality</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure end-of-line quality checks are conducted on all finished doors according to established protocols prior to distribution</li>\n <li>Verify that all inspection results are accurately documented</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Quality Record Management</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Digitize and store all completed quality records in designated systems</li>\n <li>Maintain and organize physical records in the main office archive</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Data Collection & Reporting</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Track and document materials sent to the Material Review Board (MRB) or Quality Suspension Area, including final disposition</li>\n <li>Collect and report data to support quality metrics and continuous improvement efforts</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Process Analysis & Continuous Improvement</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Support evaluation and improvement of manufacturing processes to reduce waste and improve efficiency</li>\n <li>Participate in lean initiatives such as 5S and Kaizen events</li>\n <li>Assist in identifying opportunities for process and quality improvements</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Participate in root cause investigations for quality issues</li>\n <li>Assist in implementing and tracking corrective and preventive actions</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Compliance & Audits</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements</li>\n <li>Support internal and external audit activities as needed</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Additional Responsibilities & Miscellaneous</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing and corporate objectives</li>\n <li>Photograph finished doors for specific orders prior to shipping, as required</li>\n <li>Support Quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives as directed by the Quality & CI Manager</li>\n</ul>  \n<strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred</li>\n <li>1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of quality standards, inspection processes, and documentation practices</li>\n <li>Familiarity with quality tools and concepts (e.g., inspections, non-conformance reporting, root cause analysis) preferred</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and inconsistencies</li>\n <li>Ability to accurately maintain and organize both digital and physical records</li>\n <li>Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams</li>\n <li>Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work independently with minimal supervision</li>\n <li>Physical ability to lift, push, or move up to 60 pounds</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<strong><u>Reports To</u></strong>Quality & CI Manager  \n<strong><u>Compensation</u></strong>The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position.
