          "text": "<p>We are currently seeking a qualified <strong>Senior&#xa0;Planner</strong> to join our Mining<strong> </strong>team, based out of Leroy, SK. The <strong>Senior&#xa0;Planner</strong> will be responsible for accountable for the development, integration, control, and recovery of construction execution schedules for large, complex capital projects. This role provides senior‑level leadership in construction‑driven planning, including site sequencing, resource loading, productivity analysis, and schedule recovery. The Lead Planner ensures construction activities are fully integrated with engineering and procurement inputs to support safe, efficient, and predictable field execution.</p><p>This position supports site‑based construction teams and provides expert planning guidance to project and client leadership throughout all phases of construction execution.</p><p><strong>Please note: This position is not eligible for a relocation subsidy or living‑out allowance. This is a camp‑based role with the option of a 14‑day on / 7‑day off rotation (10 hr.) Alternative rosters to be considered.&#xa0;</strong></p><p>Hatch and Bantrel have formed the Hatch Bantrel Joint Venture (HBJV) to execute engineering and construction on the Jansen Potash Mine Project in Saskatchewan. After successfully completing the Definition Phase Study for the project, the HBJV is currently carrying out the Detailed Engineering Phase for the Processing, Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI)&#xa0;and Mining Areas of the 4.5 Mtpa Stage 1 Potash Mine. With a published TIC of US $5.3-5.7 Billion this will&#xa0;represent&#xa0;one of the largest projects and private investments in Canada. The HBJV will use a hybrid of best-in-class new developing technologies and systems as well as the proven HBJV suite of tools to execute this exciting project.&#xa0;</p><p><a href=\"https://www.bantrel.com/careers\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Join us</strong></a><u><strong> </strong></u>in this <strong>full time permanent</strong> role</p><p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Construction Planning &amp; Execution</p><ul><li>Lead the development and integration of construction execution schedules, including sequencing, workface planning, and installation logic across all disciplines.</li><li>Establish, analyze, and maintain construction milestones and ensure schedule logic supports site execution strategies and contractual requirements.</li><li>Review construction activities to confirm schedules support safe, efficient, and constructible work execution.</li><li>Coordinate the timely and complete acquisition of scope definition, quantities, and field data required to support construction planning.</li></ul><p>Resource Loading &amp; Productivity</p><ul><li>Plan, organize, and supervise construction resource loading and leveling, including craft labor, supervision, and support personnel.</li><li>Coordinate development of bulk commodity release and installation curves aligned with construction sequencing.</li><li>Perform and validate construction productivity analyses, establishing productivity bases in coordination with Construction Management.</li><li>Review labor and staffing estimates for reasonableness and alignment with construction execution strategies.</li></ul><p>Schedule Controls, Analysis &amp; Recovery</p><ul><li>Monitor and report construction critical path and schedule performance for the total project.</li><li>Lead construction‑focused schedule impact analyses and prepare Schedule Impact Reports.</li><li>Develop, evaluate, and lead construction schedule recovery plans, including analysis of additional resources, resequencing, or shift work required to regain schedule.</li><li>Identify schedule constraints arising from interdisciplinary, site, or access limitations and recommend corrective actions.</li></ul><p>Integration &amp; Stakeholder Interface</p><ul><li>Ensure total integration of construction schedule activities across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.</li><li>Interface with Bantrel management and client counterparts on construction planning and schedule matters.</li><li>Support proposal planning, bid evaluations, and vendor discussions as required, with a focus on construction execution risk and schedule viability.</li></ul><p>Leadership &amp; Capability Development</p><ul><li>Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and on‑the‑job training to construction planners and schedulers.</li><li>Participate in performance reviews, interviews, and hiring recommendations when delegated.</li><li>Support the development and continuous improvement of construction planning standards, procedures, and historical data.</li></ul>",
