The Dev Lead will oversee the design and implementation of RESTful APIs, data migration and validation activities, and the delivery of optimized database and analytics services that support mission-critical applications. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The role requires deep technical expertise in <strong>API architecture, data modeling, and integration within AWS GovCloud IL4/IL5 environments</strong>, combined with leadership of an Agile team delivering iterative value aligned with cybersecurity and performance standards. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is fully remote. Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The <strong>Dev Lead / Scrum – Data & Integration</strong> will: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead Agile development efforts focused on data integration, API design, and secure data exchange across multiple system interfaces. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Build, deploy, and maintain <strong>RESTful APIs</strong> that support modular integration between mission systems, ensuring compliance with DoD security and interoperability standards. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee <strong>data migration and transformation</strong> from legacy systems, applying validation checks, reconciliation reports, and error logging to maintain data accuracy. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage <strong>database optimization and query tuning</strong>, ensuring performance and scalability across cloud-hosted environments. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Implement and maintain <strong>data pipelines and synchronization processes</strong> supporting near-real-time exchange between systems of record. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Design and deliver <strong>analytics dashboards</strong> and visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau to support operational and executive reporting. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate cross-functional integration testing to validate data integrity, workflow continuity, and system interoperability. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure adherence to DoD data governance, encryption, and access control requirements. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with cybersecurity engineers to validate compliance with <strong>RMF and STIG</strong> controls. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Participate in <strong>Agile ceremonies</strong> (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives), ensuring accurate backlog prioritization and delivery of technical milestones. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Mentor developers and analysts in data modeling, schema design, and API integration best practices. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain documentation of architecture diagrams, data flow mappings, and interface control documents (ICDs). </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Support <strong>Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)</strong> automation for data and API components. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Clearance Requirement:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must hold an active <strong>Secret clearance.</strong> </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum <strong>7 years of experience</strong> in software development and data integration, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated experience building APIs, data pipelines, and analytics dashboards within secure cloud environments. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience supporting <strong>federal or defense systems</strong> and understanding IL4/IL5 cloud data compliance. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Knowledge:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency in programming languages such as <strong>Python, Java, or C#</strong>. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with <strong>RESTful API design, Swagger/OpenAPI documentation, and API gateway management</strong>. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Hands-on experience with <strong>AWS services</strong> (Lambda, RDS, S3, Glue, API Gateway, CloudWatch). </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency in <strong>SQL and NoSQL databases</strong>, including schema design and optimization. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of <strong>data validation, ETL workflows</strong>, and data transformation best practices. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with <strong>Power BI, Tableau, or AWS QuickSight</strong> for analytics dashboarding. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Understanding of <strong>DevSecOps practices</strong>, including CI/CD automation, version control, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Awareness of <strong>DoD cybersecurity frameworks</strong>, DISA STIGs, and RMF compliance. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Certifications (Preferred):</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Data Analytics – Specialty. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570 certification. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-ACP. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills across technical and non-technical teams. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Proven ability to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable integration solutions. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Detail-oriented approach to documentation and data validation. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n
